For the second consecutive day, the mutual attacks between Israel and Iran escalated with an Israeli strike deep into Iranian territory and a response from Tehran with waves of missiles targeting Israeli cities. Israeli sources reported the death of 3 people and injuries to around 100 others in Iranian missile attacks on central Israel.

The Israeli army reported that it intercepted several drones launched towards Israel, confirming damage to several buildings and vehicles as a result of countering the Iranian missiles. Meanwhile, Tehran announced that it had launched a new wave of missiles towards Israeli areas, including Tel Aviv.

The American network "CNN" quoted an Iranian official saying that Tehran would intensify its attacks on Israel and would target the regional bases of any country attempting to defend it.

The official added: "Iran reserves the right - under international law - to respond firmly to Israeli attacks."

Iran launched hundreds of ballistic missiles at Israel after it bombed the massive Natanz nuclear site and killed several of its top military leaders.

Israeli officials stated that it might take some time before the extent of the damage in Natanz becomes clear.

For his part, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz vowed today (Saturday) that "Tehran will burn" if Iran launches new missiles at his country. He warned that "if Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei continues to launch missiles at the Israeli home front, Tehran will burn." He confirmed that his forces would continue to carry out attacks on Iran and target strategic sites according to pre-prepared plans. He considered that the Iranian regime had crossed red lines by launching missiles at the home front and would pay the price.

The Israeli army announced that it had launched strikes on dozens of missile launch platforms in Iran, after confirming the targeting of air defense systems in the Tehran area with a series of strikes overnight. It stated in a statement that its air forces continue to strike dozens of ground-to-ground missile launch platforms in Iran.
