تواصل أمانة المنطقة الشرقية تنفيذ أعمالها في عدد من مشاريع صيانة الطرق الرئيسية، وذلك ضمن خطة متكاملة تهدف إلى تعزيز مستويات السلامة المرورية وتحسين جودة الطرق، بما يتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 وفي إطار جهودها المستمرة للارتقاء بالبنية التحتية وتعزيز جودة الحياة للموطنين والمقيمين.
وأوضحت أمانة الشرقية بأن مساحة أعمال الصيانة المستخدمة على الطرق الرئيسية والداخلية والرابطة والناقلة منذ بداية العام 2,492,645 م2، والتي تُعد شرايين حيوية مهمة للتنقل بالحاضرة.
وذكرت أن أبرز الطرق التي شملتها أعمال الصيانة، طريق الملك فهد بن عبدالعزيز، أحد أهم المحاور الرئيسية في حاضرة الدمام، وطريق الملك عبدالعزيز - الظهران/بقيق الذي يعد من الطرق الحيوية التي تربط مناطق صناعية وسكنية، وأيضاً طريق الملك عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز بالدمام ويخدم قطاعاً واسعاً من الوجهات الترفيهية والسكنية ويعد من الطرق الناقلة الأساسية.
وأكدت الأمانة أن أعمال الصيانة تمت وفق معايير الجودة، مع مراعاة عناصر السلامة المرورية وتقليل تأثير الأعمال على الحركة المرورية اليومية.
وتأتي هذه المشاريع ضمن برامج أمانة الشرقية التطويرية لتحسين أداء شبكة الطرق ورفع مستوى الخدمات البلدية، بما يعكس حرص الأمانة على تحقيق التنمية الحضرية المستدامة وتعزيز جودة الحياة في مدن الحاضرة.
The Eastern Province Municipality continues to implement its work on several main road maintenance projects, as part of a comprehensive plan aimed at enhancing traffic safety levels and improving road quality, in line with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030 and within the framework of its ongoing efforts to elevate infrastructure and enhance the quality of life for citizens and residents.
The Eastern Municipality clarified that the area of maintenance work carried out on main, internal, connecting, and transporting roads since the beginning of the year is 2,492,645 m², which are considered vital arteries for mobility in the city.
It mentioned that the most prominent roads included in the maintenance work are King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Road, one of the most important main axes in the Dammam region, and King Abdulaziz Road - Dhahran/Buqayq, which is one of the vital roads connecting industrial and residential areas. Additionally, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Road in Dammam serves a wide range of recreational and residential destinations and is considered one of the main transport roads.
The municipality confirmed that the maintenance work was carried out according to quality standards, taking into account traffic safety elements and minimizing the impact of the work on daily traffic movement.
These projects are part of the Eastern Municipality's development programs to improve the performance of the road network and raise the level of municipal services, reflecting the municipality's commitment to achieving sustainable urban development and enhancing the quality of life in the cities of the region.
