وصل وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، والوفد الاقتصادي رفيع المستوى المرافق له، إلى العاصمة السورية دمشق اليوم، وذلك في زيارة رسمية.
ويضم الوفد الاقتصادي رفيع المستوى المستشار بالديوان الملكي محمد بن مزيد التويجري، ونائب وزير المالية عبدالمحسن بن سعد الخلف، ومساعد وزير الاستثمار الدكتور عبدالله بن علي الدبيخي، ووكيل وزارة الخارجية لشؤون الاقتصاد والتنمية عبدالله بن فهد بن زرعة، وعدداً من المسؤولين في مختلف القطاعات.
ومن المقرر أن يلتقي وزير الخارجية رئيس الجمهورية السورية أحمد الشرع، كما سيعقد الوفد الاقتصادي رفيع المستوى جلسة مشاورات مع نظرائهم من الجانب السوري، تهدف لبحث سبل العمل المشترك بما يسهم في دعم اقتصاد سورية، ويعزز من بناء المؤسسات الحكومية فيها، ويحقق تطلعات الشعب السوري الشقيق.
Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, along with the accompanying high-level economic delegation, arrived in the Syrian capital, Damascus, today for an official visit.
The high-level economic delegation includes the advisor at the Royal Court, Mohammed bin Mazid Al-Tuwaijri, Deputy Minister of Finance Abdul Mohsen bin Saad Al-Khalaf, Assistant Minister of Investment Dr. Abdullah bin Ali Al-Dubikhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Economic and Development Affairs Abdullah bin Fahd bin Zar'ah, and a number of officials from various sectors.
The Foreign Minister is scheduled to meet with the President of the Syrian Republic, Ahmad Al-Shara, and the high-level economic delegation will hold a consultation session with their Syrian counterparts, aimed at discussing ways to work together to support the economy of Syria, enhance the establishment of government institutions there, and fulfill the aspirations of the brotherly Syrian people.
