The "Arab Parliament" expressed its deep outrage and strong condemnation of the ongoing escalation of the Israeli occupation against the defenseless Palestinian people, accompanied by horrific massacres, crimes of forced displacement, illegal annexation, and repeated provocative incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque. The latest of these incursions was by the Minister of the Occupation Government, Itamar Ben Gvir, who stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, raised the flag of the occupation, and performed religious rituals in its courtyards, in a blatant challenge to the feelings of Muslims around the world and a flagrant violation of international law and United Nations resolutions.

Arab Parliament President Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi confirmed that the actions of the occupation entity, including direct targeting of civilians, destruction of homes over their inhabitants, depriving thousands of the most basic necessities of life, and killing children, exemplified by the recent case of Palestinian doctor Alaa Al-Najjar, who lost nine of her children at once in an Israeli airstrike targeting her family's home in Gaza while she was fulfilling her humanitarian mission, along with the massacre carried out by the occupation entity today, which resulted in the martyrdom of more than 40 individuals and dozens of injuries due to its bombing of a school sheltering displaced persons, represent "complete war crimes that will not be forgotten over time." The Israeli occupation bears the legal, political, and moral consequences of these actions before the international community.

Al-Yamahi added that the "Arab Parliament," while closely monitoring this dangerous escalation with great concern, calls on the international community, led by the Security Council and the United Nations, to break their silence, assume their legal, humanitarian, and moral responsibilities, and take immediate action to stop the genocide, the horrific massacres, hold the perpetrators accountable, and ensure the protection of the Palestinian people, especially children, as well as halt the policies of settlement, displacement, and annexation that undermine any opportunity for achieving just and comprehensive peace.

The President of the "Arab Parliament" warned of the ongoing violations by settlers under the protection of the occupation forces against Islamic and Christian holy sites, emphasizing that the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque is a "red line" that cannot be ignored or desecrated.

Al-Yamahi reiterated the "Arab Parliament's" full support for the legitimate struggle of the Palestinian people until they achieve all their inalienable rights, foremost of which is the establishment of their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital, and the realization of full recognition of the Palestinian state.

The statements of the President of the "Arab Parliament" come amid escalating tensions in the occupied Palestinian territories, where Israeli forces continue to launch military attacks on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 53,000 Palestinians and over 120,000 injured, mostly women and children, along with the destruction of infrastructure, in addition to imposing a tightened blockade that exacerbates the humanitarian crisis.

The incursion of Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir into the Al-Aqsa Mosque on (Monday) during the Flag March, accompanied by raising the Israeli flag and performing religious rituals, sparked widespread anger in the Arab and Islamic world.

The Gaza Strip is facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis due to the ongoing Israeli blockade since October 2023, leading to severe shortages of food, water, fuel, and medicine. The World Food Organization has warned of worsening famine and malnutrition, prompting human rights organizations to describe the blockade as a "starvation tactic" that could constitute a war crime.
