أصدرت وزارة الخزانة الأمريكية، (الجمعة)، الرخصة العامة رقم 25 الخاصة بسورية (GL25)، والتي تتيح إعفاءً فورياً من العقوبات المفروضة على سورية، في خطوة تهدف إلى تعزيز الاستثمارات ودعم الاستقرار الاقتصادي في البلاد.
وأوضحت الوزارة في بيان رسمي أن مكتب مراقبة الأصول الأجنبية (OFAC) أطلق هذه الرخصة تنفيذاً لتوجيهات الرئيس دونالد ترمب، التي أعلن فيها وقف جميع العقوبات على سورية.
وتسمح الرخصة بإجراء المعاملات التجارية والاستثمارية التي كانت محظورة سابقاً بموجب لوائح العقوبات السورية، مما يفتح الباب أمام القطاع الخاص لتوسيع نشاطه في السوق السوري.
وأكد وزير الخزانة سكوت بيسنت، أن الخطوة تأتي في إطار إستراتيجية أمريكا أولاً، التي تسعى لتشجيع الاستثمارات الأجنبية في سورية، مع التأكيد على ضرورة استمرار دمشق في اتخاذ خطوات نحو تحقيق الاستقرار والسلام.
وأضاف: «نسعى من خلال القرار إلى دعم الشعب السوري في بناء مستقبل مزدهر، مع الحفاظ على استقرار المنطقة».
تأتي الخطوة في سياق التغيرات السياسية والاقتصادية التي تشهدها سورية بعد سنوات من الصراع والعقوبات الدولية التي فرضتها الولايات المتحدة ودول أخرى بسبب الأزمة السورية.

The U.S. Department of the Treasury issued on Friday General License No. 25 for Syria (GL25), which provides an immediate exemption from the sanctions imposed on Syria, in a move aimed at enhancing investments and supporting economic stability in the country.
The department clarified in an official statement that the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) launched this license in implementation of President Donald Trump's directives, in which he announced the cessation of all sanctions on Syria.
The license allows for commercial and investment transactions that were previously prohibited under Syrian sanctions regulations, thereby opening the door for the private sector to expand its activities in the Syrian market.
Treasury Secretary Scott Pruitt confirmed that this step is part of the America First strategy, which seeks to encourage foreign investments in Syria, while emphasizing the necessity for Damascus to continue taking steps toward achieving stability and peace.
He added, "Through this decision, we aim to support the Syrian people in building a prosperous future while maintaining regional stability."
