يتوقع في أي وقت خلال العام 2026 أن تفرد «قرية الطائرات» السعودية أجنحتها للتحليق عالياً في آفاق النجاح الاقتصادي الباهر. وكانت الهيئة السعودية للمدن الصناعية والمناطق التكنولوجية (مدن) أعلنت في 25 سبتمبر 2025 افتتاح مجموعة صناعات الطيران في مساحة 1.2 مليون متر مربع في جدة، لتمكين سلاسل الإمداد الخاصة بصناعة الطيران، وتوطين التكنولوجيا المتقدمة في هذا المجال. ويأمل صندوق استثمار الثروة السيادية السعودية بأن يتم تأسيس كيان ضخم ورائد في مجال صيانة الطائرات، وإصلاحها في المملكة العربية السعودية. وأشار موقع «أرابسك لندن» أمس، إلى أن الاستثمار في ذلك الكيان سيشمل نظام الطيران بأقسامه كافة، خصوصاً شركة «أفيليس» التابعة لصندوق الاستثمار لإدارة أساطيل الطائرات المؤجَّرة، التي تخدم حالياً أكثر من 42 زبوناً من داخل السعودية وخارجها، وتشرف على ما لا يقل عن 200 طائرة، بموجودات تبلغ 28 مليار ريال. كما تشمل شركة هليكوبتر، التي تملك أكثر من 60 مروحية.
ويعد الهدف الأكبر للاستثمار السعودي في الطيران هو توطين الخبرات، واستقطاب الشركات المحلية للاستثمار في هذه المجالات، والتعجيل بنمو قطاع الطيران السعودي وفقاً لخطط رؤية 2030.
وقال رئيس الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني عبدالعزيز الدعيلج إن مشروع قرية الطائرات السعودية يشمل مركزاً يعمل بأحدث تكنولوجيا متقدمة لمحركات النفاثات، وهو ما من شأنه تحسين كفاءة الهندسة السعودية للمجال الجوي لصيانة المحركات النفاثة لطائرات الجيل الحديث ذات الجسم الواسع والضيق. وأكد موقع «أرابيسك لندن» أن قرية صيانة الطائرات وإصلاحها في جدة تعمل بشكل جيد. ويتوقع استكمال بقية أشغالها بحلول العام القادم.

It also includes a helicopter company that owns more than 60 helicopters.
The primary goal of Saudi investment in aviation is to localize expertise, attract local companies to invest in these areas, and accelerate the growth of the Saudi aviation sector in accordance with the Vision 2030 plans.
Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, the head of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, stated that the Saudi Aircraft Village project includes a center operating with the latest advanced technology for jet engines, which is expected to improve the efficiency of Saudi aerospace engineering for the maintenance of jet engines for modern wide-body and narrow-body aircraft. The "Arabisk London" website confirmed that the aircraft maintenance and repair village in Jeddah is functioning well. The completion of the remaining works is expected by next year.
