استغرب عدد من سكان حي المروج بمدينة أبها، استمرار مشكلة تسرب شبكة المياه من الخطوط الرئيسة، مؤكدين أن الخلل في التوصيلات الداخلية والخارجية تسبّب في هدر كميات كبيرة من المياه الصالحة للشرب دون معالجة جذرية رغم البلاغات المتكررة.
وقال علي عوض دايل: «نعيش معاناة حقيقية بسبب تسرب المياه بشكل مستمر، وقد رفعنا بلاغات عدة للجهات المعنية، إلا أن الحلول مؤقتة ولا تلبث أن تعود المشكلة من جديد».
مشهد يومي
وأضاف سعيد يحيى الشهراني، أن تسرب المياه أصبح مشهداً يومياً في شوارع الحي، مبيناً أن بعض التسربات تتدفق على الأرصفة والممشى المحيط بالحي مما يشكل تلوثاً بصرياً وبيئياً.
وأشار محمد مسفر عسيري، إلى أن شبكة المياه الحالية تحتاج إلى صيانة شاملة واستبدال للتوصيلات القديمة، داعياً إلى الوقوف ميدانياً من قبل الجهات ذات العلاقة؛ لضمان الحل النهائي.
تأخر المعالجة
وقال يحيى طالع عسيري، إن تأخر معالجة المشكلة يضر بهم، ويضر بالبنية التحتية بسبب تدفق المياه إليها. وأضاف خالد علي الأسمري، أن بعض المقاولين الذين ينفذون الإصلاحات يكتفون بإغلاق مؤقت لمواقع تسرُّب المياه دون فحص شامل للخطوط بدليل استمرار تسرب المياه للموقع الواحد أكثر من مرة، مشدداً على ضرورة تشكيل لجنة فنية لمتابعة الحالة ميدانياً.
وأعرب سعد عوضة الأحمري، عن أمله في أن تجد معاناتهم حلاً جذرياً ونهائياً حتى ينعموا بطرق خالية من تسربات المياه وعدم انقطاعها عن منازلهم، فيما أكد عبدالله محمد عسيري، أن سكان الحي متضررون، وأنهم يطالبون بإجراءات عاجلة لوقف تسرب المياه من الشبكة الرئيسة، مشيراً إلى أن المعاناة تجاوزت حدود الصبر، وقال: كلنا أمل بتدخل عاجل وتحرك سريع لوقف هذا الهدر.
A number of residents in the Al-Murooj neighborhood in Abha city expressed their astonishment at the continued problem of water leakage from the main lines, confirming that the malfunction in the internal and external connections has led to the wastage of large amounts of potable water without a fundamental solution despite repeated reports.
Ali Awad Dayel said: "We are living a real suffering due to the continuous water leakage, and we have submitted several reports to the relevant authorities, but the solutions are temporary and the problem soon returns again."
A Daily Scene
Saeed Yahya Al-Shahrani added that water leakage has become a daily scene in the neighborhood's streets, pointing out that some leaks flow onto the sidewalks and the surrounding promenade, creating visual and environmental pollution.
Mohammed Musfer Asiri indicated that the current water network needs comprehensive maintenance and replacement of the old connections, calling for a field inspection by the relevant authorities to ensure a final solution.
Delay in Treatment
Yahya Talal Asiri stated that the delay in addressing the problem harms them and damages the infrastructure due to the flow of water into it. Khalid Ali Al-Asmeri added that some contractors who carry out the repairs only provide temporary closures of the water leakage sites without a thorough inspection of the lines, as evidenced by the continued leakage at the same site multiple times, emphasizing the necessity of forming a technical committee to monitor the situation on the ground.
Saad Awda Al-Ahmari expressed his hope that their suffering would find a fundamental and final solution so that they can enjoy roads free of water leaks and uninterrupted supply to their homes, while Abdullah Mohammed Asiri confirmed that the residents of the neighborhood are affected and that they are demanding urgent measures to stop the water leakage from the main network, pointing out that the suffering has exceeded the limits of patience. He said: "We all hope for urgent intervention and swift action to stop this wastage."
