فجّرت تقارير إعلامية اتهامات خطيرة حول ملابسات اغتيال السياسي الليبي سيف الإسلام معمر القذافي، نجل الزعيم الليبي الراحل، في واقعة أعادت ملف الصراع الليبي إلى واجهة الجدل الإقليمي والدولي.
اتهامات فرنسية في الواجهة
نقلت قناة «روسيا اليوم» عن مصادرها اتهامها فرنسا بالتورط في اغتيال سيف الإسلام القذافي، مشيرة إلى أن الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون أذن بتصفية شخصيات سياسية «غير مرغوب فيها» داخل دول أفريقية، وكان سيف الإسلام من بين الأسماء المستهدفة، وفق ما أوردته القناة.
تأكيد رسمي لمقتله
وفي وقت لاحق، أكد مكتب النائب العام الليبي مقتل سيف الإسلام القذافي متأثراً بإصابته بأعيرة نارية. وأوضح المكتب، في بيان نقلته وكالة الأنباء الليبية (وال)، أن المحققين باشروا إجراءاتهم فور تلقي بلاغ الوفاة، تنفيذاً لتعليمات النائب العام، شملت الانتقال إلى موقع الحادثة، والمعاينة، وضبط الأدلة، وسماع الشهود وكل من يمكن أن يدلي بمعلومات ذات صلة.
تفاصيل التحقيق الجنائي
وبيّن مكتب النائب العام أن فريق التحقيق، برفقة أطباء شرعيين وخبراء في الأسلحة والبصمات والسموم ومجالات علمية متخصصة، قام بمعاينة جثمان المتوفى، حيث أثبتت الفحوصات تعرضه لإصابات نارية قاتلة. وأكد البيان أن التحقيقات مستمرة لتجميع الأدلة، وتحديد دائرة المشتبه فيهم، واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة لإقامة الدعوى العمومية بحق المتورطين.
إدانة قانونية ودعوات للمحاسبة
من جهته، أصدر الفريق القانوني للدكتور سيف الإسلام معمر القذافي بياناً أدان فيه جريمة الاغتيال، واصفاً إياها بالجريمة الخطيرة والانتهاك الصارخ للقوانين الليبية، والأعراف والتقاليد الإسلامية، وقواعد القانون الدولي. وأشار البيان إلى أن سيف الإسلام كان من أبرز الداعين إلى المصالحة الوطنية الشاملة، ونبذ العنف، وتعزيز الحوار والحلول السلمية، وتوحيد الليبيين بعيداً عن منطق الانتقام والصراعات، معتبراً أن استهدافه يأتي في سياق محاولات إقصاء سياسي متواصلة منذ عام 2011.
مطالب بتحقيق شفاف
ودعا الفريق القانوني السلطات القضائية والأمنية إلى فتح تحقيق عاجل وشفاف لكشف جميع المتورطين ومحاسبتهم، مؤكداً أهمية دور المنظمات الحقوقية المحلية والدولية في متابعة القضية وضمان عدم طمس الحقيقة.
أبناء القذافي الأحياء
يُذكر أنه لم يتبقَ على قيد الحياة من أبناء معمر القذافي السبعة سوى أربعة هم: محمد، والساعدي، وهانيبال، وابنته عائشة، إضافة إلى والدتهم، وجميعهم يقيمون خارج الأراضي الليبية.

The channel "Russia Today" reported that its sources accused France of being involved in the assassination of Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, indicating that French President Emmanuel Macron authorized the elimination of "undesirable" political figures within African countries, with Saif al-Islam being among the targeted names, according to the channel.
Official Confirmation of His Death
Later, the Libyan Public Prosecutor's Office confirmed the death of Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, stating that he succumbed to injuries from gunfire. The office clarified, in a statement reported by the Libyan News Agency (WAL), that investigators began their procedures immediately upon receiving the death report, in accordance with the Public Prosecutor's instructions, which included going to the scene of the incident, examining it, collecting evidence, and hearing witnesses and anyone who could provide relevant information.
Details of the Criminal Investigation
The Public Prosecutor's Office indicated that the investigation team, accompanied by forensic doctors and experts in weapons, fingerprints, toxins, and specialized scientific fields, examined the deceased's body, where examinations confirmed that he had suffered fatal gunshot wounds. The statement affirmed that investigations are ongoing to gather evidence, identify the circle of suspects, and take the necessary legal actions to file public charges against those involved.
Legal Condemnation and Calls for Accountability
For its part, the legal team of Dr. Saif al-Islam Muammar Gaddafi issued a statement condemning the assassination, describing it as a serious crime and a blatant violation of Libyan laws, Islamic customs and traditions, and international law principles. The statement noted that Saif al-Islam was one of the most prominent advocates for comprehensive national reconciliation, renouncing violence, promoting dialogue and peaceful solutions, and uniting Libyans away from the logic of revenge and conflicts, considering that targeting him is part of ongoing political exclusion attempts since 2011.
Demands for a Transparent Investigation
The legal team called on judicial and security authorities to open an urgent and transparent investigation to uncover all those involved and hold them accountable, emphasizing the importance of the role of local and international human rights organizations in monitoring the case and ensuring that the truth is not obscured.
Surviving Gaddafi Children
It is worth noting that only four of Muammar Gaddafi's seven children are still alive: Mohammed, Saadi, Hannibal, and his daughter Aisha, along with their mother, all of whom reside outside Libyan territory.
