دشن مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية بمحافظة مأرب مشروع تحسين خدمات المياه، في هيئة مستشفى مأرب العام، والذي يوفر مياها آمنة ومستدامة للمستشفى.
ومن المقرر أن يستفيد منه أكثر من 24 ألفا من الكوادر الطبية والمرضى والعاملين بالمستشفى والزوار.
ويشمل المشروع إعادة تأهيل البئر القائمة وحفر بئر ارتوازية ثانية بعمق 180 مترا وإنشاء خزان برجي بسعة 50 مترا مكعبا ومحطة تحلية إلى جانب العديد من الأعمال الإنشائية الأخرى التي يشتمل عليها المشروع.
وخلال فعاليات التدشين الذي حضره فريق مركز الملك سلمان بمأرب والمنسق الإغاثي الدكتور لطف الغباري والمنسق الصحي رضية النجار، استعرض وكيل محافظة مأرب الدكتور عبدربه مفتاح جوانب الدعم السعودي المقدم لمحافظة مأرب والذي يشمل مختلف المجالات التنموية والانسانية، معربا عن تقدير السلطة المحلية بمحافظة مأرب للسعودية على ما توليه لمحافظة مأرب من اهتمام كبير، في تقديم كافة أشكال الدعم ضمن حزمة الدعم المقدم لليمن عموما، مؤكدا أهمية المشروع الذي سيؤمن حاجات المستشفى الأهم في مأرب للمياه العذبة والنقية من خلال ما يتضمنه من إنشاء محطة تحلية بقدرة إنتاجية 20 ألف لتر في الساعة، مشيراً إلى أن هذا المشروع يعد واحدا من تدخلات مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة لدعم الخدمات الصحية والبنية التحتية في هيئة مستشفى مأرب، ومنها مركز الأطراف الصناعية.
ويهدف المشروع إلى ضمان توفير خدمات مياه مستدامة وآمنة في المستشفى بما يساهم في جودة الرعاية الصحية وتقليل مخاطر العدوى وضمان بيئة نظيفة وآمنة للمرضى في ظل التوسع السكاني نتيجة استمرار النزوح إلى محافظة مأرب.
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center in Marib Governorate has launched a project to improve water services at Marib General Hospital, which provides safe and sustainable water for the hospital.
More than 24,000 medical staff, patients, hospital workers, and visitors are expected to benefit from it.
The project includes rehabilitating the existing well, drilling a second artesian well with a depth of 180 meters, constructing a tower tank with a capacity of 50 cubic meters, and establishing a desalination station, along with many other construction works included in the project.
During the launch event, attended by the King Salman Center team in Marib, the relief coordinator Dr. Lutfi Al-Ghabari, and the health coordinator Radhia Al-Najjar, the Deputy Governor of Marib, Dr. Abdrabuh Muftah, reviewed the aspects of Saudi support provided to Marib Governorate, which includes various developmental and humanitarian fields. He expressed the local authority's appreciation in Marib for the significant attention Saudi Arabia gives to the governorate, in providing all forms of support as part of the aid package offered to Yemen in general. He emphasized the importance of the project, which will secure the hospital's most critical needs for fresh and pure water through the establishment of a desalination station with a production capacity of 20,000 liters per hour, noting that this project is one of the King Salman Center's interventions to support health services and infrastructure at Marib Hospital, including the prosthetics center.
The project aims to ensure the provision of sustainable and safe water services in the hospital, contributing to the quality of healthcare, reducing infection risks, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients amid the population growth resulting from the ongoing displacement to Marib Governorate.
