رعى أمير منطقة جازان الأمير محمد بن عبدالعزيز بن محمد بن عبدالعزيز، بحضور نائبه الأمير ناصر بن محمد بن عبدالله بن جلوي، اليوم، انطلاق فعاليات «منتدى فكر» الذي نظمته جامعة جازان تحت شعار «الوعي الفكري والتحديات المعاصرة»، وذلك بفندق جراند ميلينيوم بالمدينة الجامعية.
وأكد رئيس الجامعة الدكتور محمد بن حسن أبوراسين أهمية المنتدى في مواجهة التحديات الفكرية المعاصرة، والتغيرات الفكرية المصاحبة لها، وتعزيز الجهود الوطنية لتحقيق سلامة القيم والمعتقدات، مشيرا إلى دور المؤسسات التربوية وجميع القطاعات في غرس قيم الاعتزاز بالعادات والتقاليد، والفخر بالمنجزات الوطنية.
وأفاد بأن المنتدى يأتي ضمن سعي الجامعة لتأهيل طلبتها ليكونوا أكثر قدرة على امتلاك التفكير السليم، والارتباط الوثيق بوطنهم لمواجهة الأفكار الضالة، ويكونوا قادرين على المضي بالوطن نحو مشارف المجد والتقدم المستمر.
ويشارك في المنتدى عدد من القيادات والمتخصصين، الذين يناقشون جلسات متخصصة حول الوعي الفكري وبناء الفرد والمجتمع، وأثر الإعلام السعودي في تعزيز مفاهيم الوعي الفكري، ودور الخطاب الديني المعتدل في تعزيز الوعي الفكري؛ بهدف نشر ثقافة الوسطية والاعتدال، وقيم التسامح والتعايش، وتعزيز الولاء للدين ثم لولاة الأمر، وتعميق الانتماء الوطني، وإبراز مكانة وجهود وإنجازات المملكة على المستويين المحلي والدولي، ورفع مستوى الوعي الفكري للمجتمع.
The Prince of Jazan Region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, along with his deputy, Prince Nasser bin Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Jiluwi, today inaugurated the activities of the "Fikr Forum," organized by Jazan University under the slogan "Intellectual Awareness and Contemporary Challenges," at the Grand Millennium Hotel in the university city.
The university president, Dr. Mohammed bin Hassan Aburasain, emphasized the importance of the forum in addressing contemporary intellectual challenges and the accompanying intellectual changes, as well as enhancing national efforts to ensure the integrity of values and beliefs. He pointed out the role of educational institutions and all sectors in instilling the values of pride in customs and traditions and pride in national achievements.
He stated that the forum is part of the university's efforts to prepare its students to be more capable of possessing sound thinking and a close connection to their homeland to confront misguided ideas, enabling them to lead the nation towards the heights of glory and continuous progress.
The forum features several leaders and specialists who will discuss specialized sessions on intellectual awareness, individual and community building, the impact of Saudi media in promoting concepts of intellectual awareness, and the role of moderate religious discourse in enhancing intellectual awareness. The aim is to spread the culture of moderation and balance, values of tolerance and coexistence, strengthen loyalty to religion and then to the rulers, deepen national belonging, and highlight the status, efforts, and achievements of the Kingdom at both local and international levels, as well as raise the level of intellectual awareness in society.
