منذ أن ودّعت حائل رجلها الأشهر حاتم الطائي عام 605م / 46 قبل الهجرة، ودُفن في توارن غرب حائل، لم تغب سيرته عن وجدان العرب، ولا عن ذاكرة الأرض التي عاش عليها.
واليوم، بعد 1,430 عاماً، يعود الاسم من صفحات التاريخ إلى نبض الحاضر، ولكن هذه المرة، ليس فارساً ولا شاعراً، بل حديقة تحمل ملامحه في حي صديان بمدينة حائل.
حديقة على اسم الكرم
أن تُطلق أمانة حائل اسم «حاتم الطائي» على أحد مشاريعها التنموية، فذلك ليس قراراً إداريّاً عابراً، بل فعل وفاء لرمزٍ جسّد في حياته أعظم ما عُرف به العرب: الكرم، الشهامة، والنبل.
حديقة حديثة بمواصفات عصرية، مساحتها تتجاوز 29 ألف متر مربع، ومرافقها تحتفي بالأسرة، بالطفولة، وبجمال المكان.
حكاية لا تموت
من جبال توارن، حيث يرقد جسده، إلى وسط حائل، حيث تنبض المدينة بالحياة، امتدت مسيرة اسم لا يشيخ.
هو حاتم الذي أطعم في القحط، وآوى في العراء، وأشعل نار الكرم كلما نامت النوايا.
واليوم، تُشعل حائل ناراً من نوع آخر: نار الجمال والتخطيط والتنمية في حديقةٍ لا تُشبه أحداً، سوى صاحب الاسم.
الذاكرة التي لا تغيب
1,430 عاماً.. وما زال اسم حاتم الطائي يُذكر في المجالس، ويُخلّد في الكتب، ويُبنى له في الميادين ما يُشبهه، حديقة حاتم قصة حضارة تربط الماضي بالحاضر، وتُذكّرنا أن الكبار لا يرحلون، بل تتجدد أسماؤهم في مواسم الوفاء في العهد السعودي الزاهر.
Since Hail bid farewell to its most famous man, Hatim Al-Ta'i, in 605 AD / 46 BH, and he was buried in Tawarn west of Hail, his legacy has never faded from the consciousness of the Arabs, nor from the memory of the land on which he lived.

For the Hail Municipality to name one of its developmental projects "Hatim Al-Ta'i," is not a fleeting administrative decision, but an act of loyalty to a symbol who embodied in his life the greatest qualities known to the Arabs: generosity, nobility, and honor.
A modern park with contemporary specifications, covering an area of over 29,000 square meters, its facilities celebrate family, childhood, and the beauty of the place.
