The Prince of Tabuk, Chairman of the Main Civil Defense Committee in the region, Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, chaired today a meeting of the Main Civil Defense Committee in his office at the emirate, with the attendance of committee members from government departments.

The Prince of Tabuk began the meeting by asking the Almighty to bless the country and its people with rain, stating that everyone rejoices at the rain, prays to God in gratitude, and feels happiness. He then reviewed the reports received from the Civil Defense and the main committee, in addition to reports from local field committees regarding preparations for the rainy season. He also examined the progress percentages of ongoing projects aimed at mitigating the risks of floods and draining rainwater, reviewing the progress percentages of the dam projects in the region, which number 25, noting that 20 dams have recently been completed in the area. The Prince directed that efforts be doubled, plans activated, and the necessity for coordination and cooperation among all parties involved in the committee's work. The meeting also discussed many topics listed on the agenda.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Prince of Tabuk prayed to Almighty God to maintain the security, dignity, and stability of our country under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
