جاء تنفيذ المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني، أمس، تجربة صافرات الإنذار الثابتة في جميع مناطق المملكة بهدف تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي ورفع جاهزية السكان للاستجابة للتنبيهات الرسمية عند حدوث الحالات الطارئة، والتأكد من كفاءة أنظمة الإنذار وقدرتها على تنبيه السكان.
وتتضمن التجربة، التي نفذت أمس، اختبارات في جميع مناطق المملكة على المنصة الوطنية للإنذار المبكر، وذلك عبر خدمة البث الخلوي بإرسال رسائل تحذيرية مصحوبة بنغمة صوتية مميزة إلى الهواتف المتنقلة، بالتزامن مع تشغيل صافرات الإنذار في المناطق المستهدفة، وذلك بهدف التأكد من كفاءة أنظمة الإنذار وجاهزيتها في بث التحذيرات الصوتية عند الحالات الطارئة، واستمراراً لأعمال الدفاع المدني في تطوير ورفع جاهزية أنظمة الإنذار المبكر، وتعزيز قدرات الاستجابة للطوارئ، بما يضمن سرعة إيصال التنبيهات للسكان في مختلف المناطق، ورفع مستوى السلامة العامة والوقاية من المخاطر.
The General Directorate of Civil Defense conducted yesterday a test of fixed alarm sirens in all regions of the Kingdom with the aim of enhancing community awareness and increasing the readiness of residents to respond to official alerts during emergencies, as well as ensuring the efficiency of alarm systems and their ability to alert the population.
The experiment, which took place yesterday, included tests in all regions of the Kingdom on the national early warning platform, through a cellular broadcasting service that sends warning messages accompanied by a distinctive sound tone to mobile phones, in conjunction with the activation of alarm sirens in the targeted areas. This aims to ensure the efficiency of the alarm systems and their readiness to broadcast audio warnings during emergencies, continuing the Civil Defense's efforts to develop and enhance the readiness of early warning systems, and to strengthen emergency response capabilities, ensuring the swift delivery of alerts to residents in various areas, and raising the level of public safety and risk prevention.
