أعربت وزارة الخارجية عن إدانة واستنكار المملكة العربية السعودية لمصادقة الكنيست الإسرائيلي بالقراءة التمهيدية على مشروعَي قانونين يستهدفان فرض السيادة الإسرائيلية على الضفة الغربية المحتلة وشرعنة السيادة الإسرائيلية على إحدى المستوطنات الاستعمارية غير الشرعية.
وشددت المملكة على رفضها التام لكل الانتهاكات الاستيطانية والتوسعية التي تتبناها سلطات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، مجددةً دعمها للحق الأصيل والتاريخي للشعب الفلسطيني الشقيق بإقامة دولته المستقلة على حدود 1967 وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية، وفقاً للقرارات الشرعية الدولية ذات الصلة.
كما شددت المملكة على أهمية اضطلاع المجتمع الدولي بمسؤوليته الكاملة تجاه تطبيق قرارات الشرعية الدولية، ووضع حدٍّ لكافة التعديات الإسرائيلية السافرة على الأراضي الفلسطينية والشعب الفلسطيني الشقيق، والمضي بمسار السلام على أساس تنفيذ حل الدولتين بما يحقق الأمن والاستقرار بالمنطقة.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli Knesset's preliminary approval of two bills aimed at imposing Israeli sovereignty over the occupied West Bank and legitimizing Israeli sovereignty over one of the illegal colonial settlements.
The Kingdom emphasized its complete rejection of all settlement and expansion violations adopted by the Israeli occupation authorities, reiterating its support for the legitimate and historical right of the Palestinian brotherly people to establish their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the relevant international legitimacy resolutions.
The Kingdom also stressed the importance of the international community fulfilling its full responsibility towards implementing international legitimacy resolutions, putting an end to all blatant Israeli violations against Palestinian lands and the Palestinian brotherly people, and advancing the peace process based on the implementation of the two-state solution to achieve security and stability in the region.
