شهد أمير منطقة جازان الأمير محمد بن عبدالعزيز بن محمد بن عبدالعزيز، في مكتبه، مراسم توقيع مذكرة تفاهم بين فرع وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة والجمعية التعاونية للنحالين بالمنطقة، ضمن مبادرة «النحالين شركاء التشجير»، التي تهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون بين فروع الوزارة والجمعيات التعاونية للنحالين.
وأكّد أمير المنطقة أهمية هذه المبادرة في دعم قطاع العسل وتربية النحل، منوها في الوقت ذاته بدور النحالين في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة، وبالجهود المبذولة لتعزيز الشراكة بين الجهات الحكومية والجمعيات الأهلية.
وتهدف المذكرة إلى تنفيذ برامج مشتركة لتعزيز تربية النحل وزراعة الأشجار والنباتات لإنتاج العسل، مما يسهم في تحسين دخل النحالين ورفع مستوى الإنتاجية.
كما تتضمن المبادرة تقديم الدعم للنحالين المستفيدين من برنامج التنمية الريفية المستدامة (ريف السعودية)، مما يعزز من قدراتهم في العمل ويزيد من فرص نجاحهم.
وعبر النحالون المستفيدون عن شكرهم لأمير المنطقة على الدعم غير المحدود لبرامج التنمية الريفية المستدامة، مؤملين بأن تفتح آفاقا جديدة لهم في تطوير أعمالهم وزيادة إنتاجية العسل والصناعات التحويلية، مما يسهم في تحقيق الأمن الغذائي والتنمية المستدامة في المنطقة.
The Emir of the Jazan region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, witnessed the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between the branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture and the Cooperative Association of Beekeepers in the region, as part of the initiative "Beekeepers as Partners in Afforestation," which aims to enhance cooperation between the ministry's branches and the cooperative associations of beekeepers.
The Emir emphasized the importance of this initiative in supporting the honey sector and beekeeping, while also highlighting the role of beekeepers in achieving sustainable development, and the efforts made to strengthen the partnership between government entities and civil associations.
The memorandum aims to implement joint programs to enhance beekeeping and the planting of trees and plants for honey production, which contributes to improving the income of beekeepers and increasing productivity levels.
The initiative also includes providing support to beekeepers benefiting from the Sustainable Rural Development Program (Riyadh Saudi Arabia), which enhances their capabilities in work and increases their chances of success.
The benefiting beekeepers expressed their gratitude to the Emir of the region for his unlimited support for sustainable rural development programs, hoping that it will open new horizons for them in developing their businesses and increasing honey production and processing industries, contributing to achieving food security and sustainable development in the region.
