نظّمَت المحكمة العليا بجمهورية باكستان الإسلامية بالتعاون مع الأكاديمية القضائية ولجنة القانون والعدالة، محاضرةً للأمين العام لرابطة العالم الإسلامي رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين الدكتور محمد عبدالكريم العيسى.
وأبرزت المحاضرة جهود رابطة العالم الإسلامي في إيضاح حقائق التشريع الإسلامي في مواجهة «حملات الإسلاموفوبيا»، ودعوتها لعدالة التشريعات لحفظ الحقوق الأساسية، لا سيّما حقوق الأقلّيات.
وشهدت المحاضرة حضور رئيس المحكمة وأعضائها وعددٍ من الشخصيات الباكستانية، وأعضاء السلك الدبلوماسي، فيما جرى تكريم العيسى بعد المحاضرة.
من جهة أخرى، افتتح الشيخ العيسى، في «إسلام أباد» الملتقى الثاني لعُلماء باكستان، بعنوان: «تنسيق المواقف ووحدة الكلمة».
وأشاد بالبيان الختامي وما اشتمل عليه من مضامين تعكس الأُفق الواسع والراسخ لعلماء باكستان، منوّهاً بما تضمَّنَه من الإشادة باتفاقية التعاون المشترك بين السعودية وباكستان، والتنويه بقيادة السعودية بالتعاون مع الجمهورية الفرنسية في جهودها لحَلّ الدَّولتين، وما أسفرَ عنه من نجاحٍ دبلوماسي استثنائي.
The Supreme Court of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, in collaboration with the Judicial Academy and the Law and Justice Commission, organized a lecture for the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and President of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Dr. Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Issa.
The lecture highlighted the efforts of the Muslim World League in clarifying the truths of Islamic legislation in the face of "Islamophobia campaigns," and its call for just legislation to preserve fundamental rights, especially the rights of minorities.
The lecture was attended by the Chief Justice and members of the court, as well as a number of Pakistani figures and members of the diplomatic corps, and Dr. Al-Issa was honored after the lecture.
On another note, Sheikh Al-Issa inaugurated the second gathering of scholars from Pakistan in "Islamabad," titled: "Coordinating Positions and Unity of Word."
He praised the final statement and what it included in terms of content that reflects the broad and steadfast horizon of Pakistani scholars, noting its commendation of the cooperation agreement between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, and highlighting Saudi leadership in collaboration with the French Republic in its efforts for a two-state solution, which resulted in exceptional diplomatic success.
