في إطار تنفيذ مهام وزارة الداخلية في مكافحة المخدرات وجهودها في متابعة نشاطات تهريب وترويج المخدرات التي تستهدف أمن المملكة وشبابها، ضبطت المديرية العامة لمكافحة المخدرات (1,401,925) قرصًا من مادة الإمفيتامين المخدر مخبأة داخل آلة تستخدم لتكسير الصخور (كسّارة) بمنطقة الحدود الشمالية، وقبضت على ناقلها ومستقبليها بمنطقة الحدود الشمالية، وهم: وافد من الجنسية الأردنية، و(3) مواطنين.
وتهيب الجهات الأمنية بالإبلاغ عن كل ما يتوافر من معلومات لدى المواطنين والمقيمين عن أي نشاطات ذات صلة بتهريب أو ترويج المخدرات، وذلك من خلال الاتصال بـ (911) في مناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والرياض والشرقية و(999) في بقية مناطق المملكة، ورقم بلاغات المديرية العامة لمكافحة المخدرات (995)، وعبر البريد الإلكتروني 995@gdnc.gov.sa، وستعالج جميع البلاغات بسرية تامة دون أدنى مسؤولية على المبلّغ.
وأكدت وزارة الداخلية أن قطاعاتها الأمنية كافة، وبالتنسيق مع هيئة الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك، مستمرة في التصدي لكل من تسول له نفسه استهداف المملكة وشبابها بالمواد المخدرة.
As part of the Ministry of Interior's efforts in combating drugs and its initiatives to monitor drug smuggling and trafficking activities that threaten the security of the Kingdom and its youth, the General Directorate for Drug Control seized (1,401,925) tablets of the narcotic substance amphetamine hidden inside a rock-crushing machine in the Northern Borders region. They arrested the transporter and the recipients in the Northern Borders region, which included a Jordanian national and (3) citizens.
The security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information they may have regarding activities related to drug smuggling or trafficking by calling (911) in the regions of Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and (999) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions, as well as the General Directorate for Drug Control's reporting number (995), and via email at 995@gdnc.gov.sa. All reports will be handled with complete confidentiality, with no liability on the informant.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that all its security sectors, in coordination with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, are continuing to confront anyone who dares to target the Kingdom and its youth with narcotic substances.
