تخيل أن ترتكب جريمة قتل بدم بارد، ثم تقف أمام جثة شريكك وتنظر إلى «ثور» يربض في المكان، لتبتكر في ثوانٍ أكثر خطة شيطانية لإبعاد حبل المشنقة عن رقبتك! هذا السيناريو الذي يشبه أفلام الجريمة الهوليوودية حدث بالفعل في العاصمة العراقية بغداد، حيث ظن جانيان أنهما نفذا «الجريمة الكاملة»، قبل أن تسقط أقنعتهما أمام أدلة الطب الشرعي وفراسة المحققين.
بدأت الكارثة بطمع أعمى، إذ اتفق الجانيان على إنهاء حياة شريكهما للاستيلاء على المبالغ المالية التي بحوزته. وبمجرد أن سقط الضحية مضرجاً بدمائه، كان الشغل الشاغل للقاتلين: كيف نخرج من هذه الكارثة دون أن يرتاب فينا أحد؟
وهنا ولدت الفكرة الغريبة:
- تلطيخ القرون: أسرع المتهمان نحو ثور متواجد في موقع الجريمة، وقاما بتلطيخ قرنيه بدماء المجني عليه بعناية فائقة.
- التمثيلية الدرامية: صرخ القاتلان مستنجدين بالشرطة، ومطلِقين رواية باكية تدعي أن الثور ثار فجأة ووجه للضحية «نطحة قاتلة» أودت بحياته في الحال.
كيف فشلت الخدعة؟
رغم محاولة إحكام مسرح الجريمة، إلا أن الضباط تعاملوا مع الحادثة بحذر شديد، لتأتي تقارير المعاينة الدقيقة وتكشف زيف المسرحية بالكامل:
- نمط الجراح: كشف الفحص الطبي الشرعي أن كسور جثة الضحية وإصاباتها ناتجة عن اعتداء بشري مباشر بأدوات صلبة، ولا تشبه نهائياً طابع الكدمات الناتجة عن نطح المواشي.
- بصمات دماء مفتعلة: أثبتت التحليلات أن الدماء على قرني الثور وُضعت بفعل فاعل وبطريقة يدوية لإيهام رجال الأمن.
- سر اختفاء الأموال: أظهرت التحريات اختفاء مبالغ مالية كانت بحوزة الضحية، ما حوّل مجرى القضية فوراً من حادثة عرضية إلى جريمة قتل عمد بدافع السرقة.
وتحت ضغط الأدلة العلمية ووضوح التناقضات، انكسر صمود القاتلين وانهارا بالاعتراف الكامل بتفاصيل القتل والتمويه وتلطيخ قرني الثور لإبعاد الشبهات.
ولم تتأخر محكمة جنايات الكرخ الثانية في إصدار كلمة العدالة الحاسمة، إذ قضت بالإعدام شنقاً حتى الموت بحق المدانين الاثنين، ليكون حبل المشنقة هو الفصل الأخير في واحدة من أغرب حيل الجريمة وأكثرها بشاعة.

This Hollywood-style crime scenario actually happened in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, where two criminals thought they had executed the "perfect crime," before their masks fell away in front of forensic evidence and the intuition of investigators.
The disaster began with blind greed, as the two perpetrators agreed to end their partner's life to seize the financial amounts in his possession. Once the victim fell, drenched in his own blood, the killers' main concern was: how do we get out of this disaster without raising anyone's suspicion?
And here the strange idea was born:
- Staining the horns: The two suspects rushed to a bull present at the crime scene and carefully smeared its horns with the victim's blood.
- The dramatic act: The killers screamed for help from the police, launching a tearful narrative claiming that the bull suddenly charged and delivered a "fatal blow" that instantly took the victim's life.
How did the trick fail?
Despite their attempts to stage the crime scene, the officers approached the incident with extreme caution, leading to detailed examination reports that revealed the entire charade:
- Pattern of injuries: The forensic examination revealed that the fractures and injuries on the victim's body were caused by direct human assault with hard objects, and did not resemble the bruises typically resulting from livestock goring at all.
- Fabricated blood traces: Analyses proved that the blood on the bull's horns was placed there by an active agent in a manual manner to mislead the security personnel.
- The mystery of the missing money: Investigations showed that financial amounts were missing from the victim's possession, which immediately shifted the case from an accidental incident to a premeditated murder motivated by theft.
Under the pressure of scientific evidence and the clarity of contradictions, the killers' resolve broke, and they collapsed into a full confession detailing the murder, the ruse, and the staining of the bull's horns to divert suspicion.
The Second Criminal Court of Karkh did not delay in issuing a decisive word of justice, sentencing the two convicted individuals to death by hanging, making the noose the final chapter in one of the strangest and most horrific crime tricks.
