تسلّمت المملكة العربية السعودية، ممثلةً في الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي «سدايا»، جائزة الأمم المتحدة للخدمة العامة لعام 2026م، عن مبادرتَي «بنك البيانات الوطني»، ومنصة «استشراف» الرقميتين، التي تُعد أرفع الجوائز الأممية في مجال تطوير الخدمات الحكومية، وتُمنح للمبادرات المبتكرة التي تسهم في رفع كفاءة القطاع العام وتعزيز أثره التنموي وتحسين جودة الخدمات المقدمة للمستفيدين.
وجرى تسليم الجائزة خلال حفل أقيم أمس ضمن أعمال منتدى الأمم المتحدة للخدمة العامة 2026 في العاصمة الجورجية تبليسي، بحضور وزير العدل الجورجي باتا ساليا، ووكيل الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة للشؤون الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لي جونخوا، وعدد من الوزراء وكبار المسؤولين وممثلي المنظمات الدولية، إلى جانب نائب سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى جورجيا محمد خصر الشمري.
وجاء فوز المملكة في عام الذكاء الاصطناعي 2026 بعد منافسة دولية واسعة شهدتها الدورة الحالية للجائزة، التي استقبلت أكثر من 700 مشاركة من 62 دولة، قبل أن تختار الأمم المتحدة 12 مبادرة فقط للفوز على مستوى العالم، من بينها «بنك البيانات الوطني»، ومنصة «استشراف» المطوّرتان من «سدايا».
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), has received the United Nations Public Service Award for 2026 for the initiatives "National Data Bank" and the digital platform "Estishraf," which are considered the highest international awards in the field of developing government services. These awards are granted to innovative initiatives that contribute to enhancing the efficiency of the public sector, boosting its developmental impact, and improving the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
The award was presented during a ceremony held yesterday as part of the United Nations Public Service Forum 2026 in the Georgian capital Tbilisi, in the presence of Georgian Minister of Justice Bato Salia, United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs Liu Zhenmin, as well as several ministers, senior officials, and representatives of international organizations, alongside the Deputy Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Georgia, Mohammed Khasar Al-Shammari.
The Kingdom's win in the year of artificial intelligence 2026 came after a wide international competition witnessed in the current cycle of the award, which received more than 700 submissions from 62 countries, before the United Nations selected only 12 initiatives to win globally, including the "National Data Bank" and the "Estishraf" platform developed by SDAIA.
