في واحدة من أكثر العمليات الأمنية تعقيداً وإثارة في قلب الصحراء الإفريقية، تحولت صفقة تجارية مربحة إلى كابوس مرعب لتاجر أوروبي، قبل أن تتدخل أجهزة استخبارات عربية بحنكة عالية لإنقاذه من قبضة عصابات مسلحة كانت تطالب بفدية خيالية.
بدأت الحكاية بوصول التاجر الألماني من أصل تركي أولوماسكان سينان، إلى عاصمة النيجر (نيامي) قادماً عبر الجزائر، بهدف إتمام صفقة تجارية ضخمة للتنقيب عن المعادن النفيسة والذهب في منطقة «طاوة» الواقعة بالوسط الغربي للبلاد.
لكن الحلم بتحقيق ثروة سريعة تبدد في ومضة، إذ تبين أن الرحلة لم تكن سوى فخ محكم أوقعه فيه شركاؤه المحليون. فبعد يومين فقط من وصوله، وجد التاجر نفسه محاطاً بعناصر مجموعة إجرامية مسلحة اقتادته إلى مجهول، ليواجه أسبوعين من الرعب في عمق الساحل، مع تهديدات حقيقية بنقله أو بيعه للتنظيمات الإرهابية المتطرفة التي تعج بها المنطقة.
وأمام إصرار الخاطفين على الحصول على فدية مالية بلغت مليوني يورو، وتأزم الموقف وسط شبكات الوساطة العشائرية في الصحراء، دخلت الأجهزة الأمنية والاستخباراتية الجزائرية على الخط بثقلها الإقليمي.
وعبر استثمار شبكة نفوذها وقنوات تأثيرها الميداني المعقدة، أدارت الجزائر أزمة الرهينة بحرفية نادرة أثمرت عن تحريره سالماً، ليتم نقله في عملية دقيقة إلى نقطة الحدود في «عين قزام» أقصى جنوب البلاد، تمهيداً لنقله بطائرة عسكرية خاصة إلى قاعدة بوفاريك العسكرية.

The story began with the arrival of the German trader of Turkish origin, Ulumaskan Sinan, in the capital of Niger (Niamey), coming through Algeria, with the aim of completing a massive business deal for the exploration of precious metals and gold in the "Tawa" area located in the northwest of the country.
However, the dream of achieving quick wealth dissipated in an instant, as it became clear that the journey was nothing more than a well-laid trap set by his local partners. Just two days after his arrival, the trader found himself surrounded by elements of an armed criminal group that took him to an unknown location, where he faced two weeks of terror deep in the Sahel, with real threats of being transferred or sold to extremist terrorist organizations that abound in the region.
In light of the kidnappers' insistence on obtaining a ransom of two million euros, and the worsening situation amidst tribal mediation networks in the desert, Algerian security and intelligence agencies entered the fray with their regional weight.
By leveraging their network of influence and complex field channels of impact, Algeria managed the hostage crisis with rare professionalism, resulting in his safe release, after which he was transported in a precise operation to the border point in "Ain Guazzam," at the southernmost tip of the country, in preparation for his transfer by a special military aircraft to the Boufarik military base.
