مجلس التعاون يرحّب بإدانة مجلس الأمن للهجمات الحوثية ضد السعودية

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, expressed his welcome of the statement issued by the members of the Security Council on Friday, which included a condemnation of the missile attacks launched by the Houthi terrorist militia against Saudi Arabia since July 13, as well as the attacks targeting commercial ships since July 22.
He affirmed that the Gulf Cooperation Council countries condemn in the strongest terms these repeated Houthi terrorist attacks against Saudi Arabia, which represent a blatant violation of its sovereignty and a direct threat to its security, stability, and territorial integrity, emphasizing that targeting commercial ships and threatening international maritime navigation lines constitutes a serious escalation that threatens regional security and stability.
Al-Budaiwi called on the international community to assume its responsibilities regarding these serious assaults and to take a firm international stance to hold the Houthi terrorist militia accountable for its attacks and repeated violations, and to work towards an immediate and urgent cessation of these assaults.
The Secretary-General stressed the full solidarity and support of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries with Saudi Arabia in facing all that threatens its security, sovereignty, and stability, and their endorsement of all measures taken by the Kingdom to protect its territorial integrity and the safety of its citizens and residents.
