أشادت وزيرة الخارجية اليمنية أفراح الزوبة بمواقف السعودية في مساندة الشعب اليمني في شتى المجالات وفي الأوقات والظروف كافة، معربة عن تقدير اليمن لقيادة المملكة العربية السعودية ودعمها المتواصل لمجلس القيادة الرئاسي والحكومة اليمنية للقيام بمسؤولياتها تجاه الشعب اليمني.
جاء ذلك خلال لقائها سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين في اليمن المشرف العام على البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن محمد آل جابر، مؤكدة اعتزاز اليمن بالشراكة الإستراتيجية مع السعودية، ومواقفها الثابتة، ودعمها السياسي والاقتصادي والإنساني والتنموي لليمن. وجددت إدانتها الاعتداءات الحوثية الإرهابية التي استهدفت المملكة.
وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض التصعيد الأخير للمليشيات الحوثية في المخا ومأرب وحضرموت، وبحث العلاقات الأخوية الراسخة بين اليمن والسعودية، وسبل تعزيز الشراكة والتنسيق، إلى جانب مستجدات الأوضاع في اليمن والمنطقة.
The Yemeni Foreign Minister Afrah Al-Zouba praised Saudi Arabia's positions in supporting the Yemeni people in various fields and under all circumstances, expressing Yemen's appreciation for the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its continuous support for the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government to fulfill their responsibilities towards the Yemeni people.
This came during her meeting with the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Yemen, the General Supervisor of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, Mohammed Al-Jaber, emphasizing Yemen's pride in the strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia, its steadfast positions, and its political, economic, humanitarian, and developmental support for Yemen. She reiterated her condemnation of the terrorist Houthi attacks that targeted the Kingdom.
During the meeting, the recent escalation of Houthi militias in Al-Mokha, Marib, and Hadhramaut was reviewed, and the deep-rooted brotherly relations between Yemen and Saudi Arabia were discussed, along with ways to enhance partnership and coordination, in addition to the latest developments in Yemen and the region.
