أصدر المركز الوطني للأرصاد تنبيهًا بشأن حالة جوية تشهدها منطقة حائل، اليوم، تتمثل في هبوب رياح نشطة على الطرق السريعة والمناطق المفتوحة، ما يؤدي إلى تدنٍ في مدى الرؤية الأفقية ليصل إلى (3–5 كيلومترات)؛ نتيجة إثارة الأتربة والغبار المصاحب لنشاط الرياح السطحية.
وأوضح المركز أن هذه الأجواء تأتي ضمن نشاط الرياح الموسمية التي تشهدها مناطق شمال المملكة خلال هذه الفترة، حيث تسهم التغيرات الحرارية في زيادة سرعة الرياح وامتداد تأثيرها على الطرق السريعة، خصوصًا في المناطق المكشوفة.
وأشار إلى أن الحالة تستمر-بمشيئة الله تعالى- حتى الساعة السادسة مساءً، داعيًا مرتادي الطرق إلى توخّي الحيطة، والالتزام بتعليمات السلامة المرورية، ومتابعة تحديثات الحالة الجوية عبر منصات المركز الرسمية؛ نظرًا لاحتمال تزايد نشاط الرياح خلال ساعات النهار.
The National Center of Meteorology has issued an alert regarding a weather condition affecting the Hail region today, characterized by active winds on highways and open areas, leading to a reduction in horizontal visibility to (3–5 kilometers) due to the stirring of dust and sand associated with the surface wind activity.
The center explained that these conditions are part of the seasonal wind activity experienced in the northern regions of the Kingdom during this period, as thermal changes contribute to increasing wind speed and extending its effects on highways, especially in exposed areas.
It was noted that the condition will continue—God willing—until 6 PM, urging road users to exercise caution, adhere to traffic safety instructions, and follow updates on the weather condition through the center's official platforms, due to the possibility of increased wind activity during daylight hours.
