حسمت أمانة محافظة جدة الجدل المتداول بشأن شمول بعض الأحياء بقرار معالجة أوضاع المساكن المقامة على «أراضي وضع اليد»، وأكدت أن حي الحرازات غير مشمول بالقرار، فيما تخرج الأحياء الواقعة ضمن نطاق العين العزيزية عن اختصاص الأمانة في هذا الملف.
وأوضح المتحدث باسم أمانة جدة محمد البقمي لـ«عكاظ» أن حي الحرازات الواقع جنوب شرقي جدة لا يشمله قرار معالجة أوضاع المساكن المقامة على أراضي وضع اليد، مبينًا أن الأحياء الواقعة ضمن حدود العين العزيزية تخضع لاختصاص إدارة العين العزيزية، لا لأمانة محافظة جدة.

جاء توضيح الأمانة عقب تزايد استفسارات سكان حي الحرازات وعدد من الأحياء الواقعة ضمن نطاق العين العزيزية، حول مدى استفادتهم من قرار وزارة البلديات والإسكان الذي ألزم الأمانات بإنهاء إجراءات طلبات تملك المساكن المقامة على أراضي وضع اليد خلال مدة لا تتجاوز 35 يوم عمل، تشمل جميع مراحل دراسة الطلبات واعتمادها.
ويأتي القرار في إطار جهود وزارة البلديات والإسكان لتوحيد إجراءات معالجة طلبات التملك وتسريع إنجازها، بما يسهم في رفع كفاءة الأداء واختصار المدة اللازمة لإنهاء الطلبات.
The Jeddah Municipality has settled the ongoing debate regarding the inclusion of certain neighborhoods in the decision to address the conditions of homes built on "land under possession." It confirmed that the Al-Harazat neighborhood is not included in the decision, while the neighborhoods located within the Al-Ain Al-Aziziyah area fall outside the municipality's jurisdiction in this matter.
Spokesperson for the Jeddah Municipality, Mohammed Al-Buqami, explained to "Okaz" that the Al-Harazat neighborhood, located southeast of Jeddah, is not covered by the decision to address the conditions of homes built on land under possession, indicating that the neighborhoods within the boundaries of Al-Ain Al-Aziziyah are under the jurisdiction of the Al-Ain Al-Aziziyah administration, not the Jeddah Municipality.

This clarification from the municipality came after an increase in inquiries from residents of the Al-Harazat neighborhood and several neighborhoods within the Al-Ain Al-Aziziyah area regarding their potential benefits from the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing's decision, which mandated municipalities to complete the procedures for ownership requests for homes built on land under possession within a period not exceeding 35 working days, covering all stages of application review and approval.
The decision is part of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing's efforts to standardize the procedures for processing ownership requests and expedite their completion, contributing to improved performance efficiency and reducing the time required to finalize requests.
