تعيش مناطق المملكة تغيّرات مناخية محتملة، الأمطار، وانتشار الضباب، وبرودة الطقس، وانعدام الرؤية، ما يستدعي أخذ الإجراءات الاحترازية في الحسبان، للحفاظ على الصحة، وحماية الأرواح والممتلكات، وإعلاء شأن ما يصدر من بلاغات الدفاع المدني.
وبرغم تنبيهات وإرشادات جهات الاختصاص إلا أن البعض يستهين بالتعليمات، ويضرب بالتحذيرات عرض الحائط، ولا يتعظ من مصير المغامرين والمتهاونين، ممن ذهبوا ضحيّة غطرسة وتوهّم بطولة.
وتغليظ العقوبات في هذا السياق يحدّ من شعور التهوّر عند عديمي المسؤولية، ممن يحلمون بتحقيق مشاهدات عالية في مواقع التواصل، وإن خسروا أرواحهم، علماً بأن الجهات المسؤولة فرضت غرامات مالية على مقتحمي الأودية والشعاب عند جريان السيول، والعلماء أوضحوا حرمة إتلاف النفس البشرية، بإلقائها في التهلكة، وذلك ما نصّت عليه الشريعة الإسلامية وأحكام النظام السعودي.
ولعلنا ونحن نواكب دخول فصل الشتاء نعيد الحسابات ونرصد كم يكلّف التهاون والاستخفاف بالتغيّرات المناخية والظواهر الطبيعية من أموال وجهود وتضحيات، بسبب رعونة ومغامرات غير محسوبة. ومن الواجب تجنّب الأذى للذات وللآخرين، والبعد عن مظان الخطر، بالبقاء في أماكن آمنة، والابتعاد عن أماكن تجمُّع السيول والمستنقعات المائية، وعدم السباحة فيها، كونها غير مناسبة وتشكّل خطورة، إضافة إلى أن المجازفة باقتحام المناطق المنخفضة، والولوج إلى الأودية أثناء جريان السيول غير مأمون العواقب، وقديماً قال الحكماء: «درهم وقاية خير من قنطار علاج».
The regions of the Kingdom are experiencing potential climate changes, including rain, fog, cold weather, and reduced visibility, which necessitates taking precautionary measures into account to preserve health, protect lives and property, and heed the importance of the alerts issued by the civil defense.
Despite the warnings and guidelines from the relevant authorities, some individuals underestimate the instructions, disregard the warnings, and do not learn from the fate of adventurers and the careless, who have fallen victim to arrogance and the illusion of heroism.
In this context, the tightening of penalties limits the sense of recklessness among the irresponsible, who dream of achieving high views on social media, even if they lose their lives. It is worth noting that the responsible authorities have imposed financial fines on those who enter valleys and ravines during the flow of floods, and scholars have clarified the prohibition of endangering human life by throwing it into peril, as stipulated by Islamic law and the provisions of the Saudi system.
As we approach the winter season, we should reconsider and assess how much negligence and disregard for climate changes and natural phenomena cost in terms of money, effort, and sacrifices due to rashness and uncalculated adventures. It is essential to avoid harm to oneself and others, stay away from potential dangers, remain in safe places, and avoid areas where floods and water pools gather, as swimming in them is unsuitable and poses risks. Additionally, the risk of entering low-lying areas and accessing valleys during floods is fraught with consequences. As the wise have said: "An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure."
