استقبل وزير الإعلام سلمان بن يوسف الدوسري في مكتبه اليوم (الخميس) رئيس صحيفة الشعب الصينية يو شاو ليانغ، والوفد المرافق له، وذلك بمناسبة افتتاح المكتب الإقليمي للصحيفة في الرياض.
وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض العلاقات الإعلامية بين البلدين الصديقين وسبل تطويرها، وبحث أوجه التعاون في مجالات الإعلام الرقمي وتبادل المحتوى الإخباري والتدريب المهني والإنتاج المشترك، إلى جانب مناقشة فرص التكامل بين رؤية المملكة 2030 ومبادرة الحزام والطريق.
وأكد الجانبان أهمية افتتاح المكتب الإقليمي للصحيفة في الرياض كونها خطوة تعزز التواصل الإعلامي والثقافي بين المملكة والصين، وتسهم في نقل الصورة الحقيقية عن التطورات التي يشهدها البلدان في مختلف المجالات.
وكتب وزير الإعلام في تغريدة عبر منصة «X»: «حين تختار أكبر صحيفة في الصين أن يكون مقرها الإقليمي في الرياض، فهي لا تختار موقعاً جغرافياً فحسب، بل تختار وجهة المستقبل».

The Minister of Media, Salman bin Yusuf Al-Dosari, received today (Thursday) in his office the President of the China Daily, Yu Shao Liang, along with his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of the opening of the newspaper's regional office in Riyadh.
During the meeting, they reviewed the media relations between the two friendly countries and ways to develop them, discussed aspects of cooperation in the fields of digital media, news content exchange, vocational training, and joint production, as well as discussing opportunities for integration between the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the Belt and Road Initiative.
Both sides emphasized the importance of opening the newspaper's regional office in Riyadh as a step that enhances media and cultural communication between the Kingdom and China, and contributes to conveying the true picture of the developments taking place in both countries in various fields.
