انطلقت اليوم (الخميس) في «بوليفارد سيتي» بالعاصمة السعودية الرياض، أعمال «جوي فوروم 2025» أحد أكبر المنتديات المتخصصة في قطاع الترفيه بالعالم الذي يستمر على مدى يومين، بحضور المستشار تركي بن عبدالمحسن آل الشيخ رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للترفيه (GEA)، الذي رحب بالضيوف في «عاصمة الترفيه بالعالم».
وفي الكلمة الافتتاحية، أعلن آل الشيخ عن توقيع عدد من الاتفاقيات على هامش المنتدى بقيمة 4 مليارات ريال للعام القادم، تتضمن العديد من الأحداث والمفاجآت، مشيرًا إلى أن الرحلة التي بدأت مع الرؤية (رؤية السعودية 2030) المباركة عام 2016 كانت قصيرة في الزمن لكنها مليئة بالإنجازات النوعية، وجعلت من المملكة وجهة رئيسية لأهم الأحداث العالمية وأحد أبرز المقاصد السياحية على مستوى العالم.
وأوضح آل الشيخ أن الإنجازات المتتابعة التي تشهدها المملكة جاءت بفضل الدعم الكبير من القيادة، مؤكدًا أن العام الحالي سيشهد افتتاح المرحلة الأولى من الصرح العظيم «القدية» المتضمن مدينة (six flags)، أحد مشاريع ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، الذي يقود هذه التحولات الكبرى.
وأشاد المستشار بالتعاون الكبير مع وزارة السياحة بقيادة أحمد الخطيب ونائب وزير السياحة الأميرة هيفاء بنت محمد آل سعود، ورئيس الهيئة السعودية للسياحة الأستاذ فهد حميد الدين، مؤكدًا أن الجهود المشتركة أسهمت في رفع أعداد الزوار والعائدات السياحية، لتصبح المملكة الثانية في المنطقة من حيث العائد السياحي خلال العام الماضي، كما أشاد بالجهود مع وزارة الثقافة بقيادة الأمير بدر بن عبدالله بن فرحان، ونائبه حامد فايز.
وتطرق آل الشيخ إلى ما حققه الدوري السعودي من قفزة عالمية، إذ يُتابع اليوم حول العالم ويضم نخبة من نجوم الكرة العالمية الذين أصبحوا جزءًا من المشهد الرياضي السعودي.
وكشف آل الشيخ، عن تعاون كبير مع شركة TKO ورئيسها نِك خان، يتضمن استضافة فعالية رويال رامبل في المملكة العام القادم، وحدث راسلمينيا 2027 التاريخي الذي سيُقام للمرة الأولى خارج الولايات المتحدة.
كما أشار إلى تعاون جديد مع الرئيس التنفيذي ورئيس منظمة UFC دانا وايت عبر تأسيس أول دوري عالمي للملاكمة سينطلق في عام 2026 ويمتد لسنوات طويلة، وبعقد كبير، وتُقام بعض جولاته الكبرى في المملكة، إضافة إلى إطلاق فعالية Power Slap الأسبوع القادم بعد النجاح الذي تحقق العام الماضي.
وأوضح أنه خلال شهر مارس القادم سيشهد حدثًا ضخمًا في عالم كرة القدم الأمريكية (NFL) بالتعاون مع الأسطورة توم برادي، ليكون بوابة لاستضافة مباريات رسمية للبطولة في المملكة مستقبلًا، مؤكدًا أن السعودية فازت مؤخرًا بحق استضافة «راسلمينيا» بعد منافسة قوية مع لندن، ونطمح للفوز بــ«NFL» أيضاً قريباً.
وتحدث آل الشيخ عن توقيع شراكات نوعية مع Warner Music وAtlantic Records لجعل استوديو مرواس في منطقة «بوليفارد سيتي» بقيادة حسين اليامي المركز الإقليمي للموسيقى في الشرق الأوسط، إضافة إلى اتفاق مع 6 من كبار المايستروهات العرب وفرقة موسيقية دائمة بالشراكة مع شركاتنا الاستراتيجية «روتانا» و«بنشمارك».
وفي مجال السينما، أوضح أن المرحلة الأولى من صندوق Big Time لدعم أكثر من 27 فيلمًا سعوديًا وعالميًا قد انطلقت، منها فيلم سيف الله المسلول – خالد بن الوليد – ومعركة اليرموك المقرر عرضه عام 2027. كما أعلن عن فيلم وطني بالشراكة مع وزارة الدفاع وبدعم من وزير الدفاع الأمير خالد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، يروي بطولات الجيش السعودي في مكافحة الإرهاب سيرى النور في آخر العام القادم أو بداية العام الذي يليه، وفيلم آخر بدعم مشكور من وزارة الداخلية ووزير الداخلية، يتناول جهود المملكة في مكافحة المخدرات بمشاركة مخرج عالمي عبر قصة حقيقية.
كما كشف عن أعمال درامية قادمة من بينها مسلسل «أبو الملوك عبدالملك بن مروان»، بالشراكة مع MBC Studios وصلة ستوديو ومنصة شاهد.
وأشار آل الشيخ خلال كلمته، إلى أن برنامج «الحصن» سيعود هذا العام بنسخة استثنائية بالتعاون مع «استوديو الحصن بيغ تايم» مع مفاجآت منها مشاركة «مستر بيست» و«سبيد»، ومن المتوقع عرضه في منصات عالمية قريباً.
وأعلن آل الشيخ عن نسخة أكبر من مهرجان الرياض للكوميديا العام القادم، بعد النجاح البارز الذي تحقق في نسخته الأخيرة.
وأضاف: «سنعلن أيضًا اتفاقية مهمة مع أسطورة كرة السلة شاكيل أونيل، الصديق المحب للمملكة والمنطقة، ضمن شراكة إستراتيجية في مجال الرياضة، وسيُعلن تفاصيلها قريبًا بنفسه».
كما أعلن عن مشروع بالتعاون مع شركة CG الكورية حيث سيتم تنظيم 3 أحداث كبيرة ستطلق العام القادم، في ظل الإقبال الكبير على المحتوى الكوري في المملكة والمنطقة.
وزاد آل الشيخ: «أفتخر بوجود المخرج الكبير مروان حامد الذي نعمل معه على فيلم «الفيل الأزرق – الجزء الثالث»، إلى جانب دعم فيلم «الست» عن حياة المطربة الكبيرة أم كلثوم.
وقال في كلمته قال، «نعتز بشراكتنا مع وزارة السياحة التي تُعد شريكًا إستراتيجيًا في الترويج لأفكارنا وفعالياتنا، ونستضيفهم هذا العام في بوليفارد وورلد بفعالية كبرى نتوقع أن تحقق أرقامًا قياسية».
موضحاً: «في العام الماضي، حققت المملكة نموًا كبيرًا في عدد الزوار والعائدات السياحية، لتصبح الثانية على مستوى المنطقة في العائد السياحي، ونسعى للمزيد بإذن الله، في منافسة إيجابية لمصلحة المنطقة كلها».
مضيفاً آل الشيخ: «نعتز بشراكتنا الوثيقة مع وزارة الثقافة، في الأفلام والفعاليات، وهم داعمون لنا دائمًا، وأشكرهم على التنسيق الكبير».
وفي كلمته، أكد آل الشيخ على أن الترفيه لم يعد من الكماليات، بل أصبح رافدًا أساسيًا لرفع جودة الحياة، ومجالًا إستراتيجيًا في مسيرة التنمية الوطنية، مشيرًا إلى أن المملكة لا تضع اسمها على الخريطة فقط، بل تقود اليوم عالم الترفيه عالميًا بفضل الرؤية الطموحة والمشاريع غير المسبوقة، داعياً الشركات المشاركة في المنتدى إلى الاستفادة من حضورها في أبرام عدد من الصفقات مع نظرائها.
وفي ختام كلمته، وجّه التحية للنجم السوري تيم حسن، مشيدًا بعودة الفن السوري إلى محيطه العربي، ومعلنًا عن مفاجآت فنية قادمة مع سورية ضمن فعاليات موسم الرياض وخارجه.
Today (Thursday), the "Joy Forum 2025," one of the largest specialized forums in the entertainment sector in the world, kicked off at "Boulevard City" in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. The event will last for two days and was attended by Advisor Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al Sheikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), who welcomed the guests to the "Entertainment Capital of the World."
In his opening speech, Al Sheikh announced the signing of several agreements on the sidelines of the forum worth 4 billion riyals for the coming year, which include many events and surprises. He pointed out that the journey that began with the blessed vision (Saudi Vision 2030) in 2016 was short in time but filled with qualitative achievements, making the Kingdom a primary destination for the most important global events and one of the most prominent tourist attractions in the world.
Al Sheikh explained that the successive achievements witnessed by the Kingdom came thanks to the significant support from the leadership, emphasizing that this year will see the opening of the first phase of the grand project "Qiddiya," which includes the (Six Flags) city, one of the projects of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, who is leading these major transformations.
The advisor praised the great cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, led by Ahmed Al-Khateeb and Deputy Minister of Tourism Princess Haifa bint Mohammed Al Saud, and the Chairman of the Saudi Tourism Authority, Mr. Fahd Hamid Al-Din, confirming that their joint efforts contributed to increasing the number of visitors and tourism revenues, making the Kingdom the second in the region in terms of tourism revenue last year. He also praised the efforts with the Ministry of Culture, led by Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, and his deputy Hamid Fayez.
Al Sheikh touched upon the global leap achieved by the Saudi League, which is now followed around the world and includes a selection of global football stars who have become part of the Saudi sports scene.
Al Sheikh revealed a significant collaboration with TKO and its president Nick Khan, which includes hosting the Royal Rumble event in the Kingdom next year, as well as the historic WrestleMania 2027, which will be held for the first time outside the United States.
He also mentioned a new collaboration with UFC CEO Dana White to establish the first global boxing league, set to launch in 2026 and extend for many years, with a significant contract, and some of its major rounds will take place in the Kingdom, in addition to launching the Power Slap event next week after the success achieved last year.
He clarified that next March will witness a massive event in the world of American football (NFL) in collaboration with the legend Tom Brady, paving the way for hosting official championship matches in the Kingdom in the future. He confirmed that Saudi Arabia recently won the right to host WrestleMania after strong competition with London, and we aspire to win the NFL as well soon.
Al Sheikh spoke about signing qualitative partnerships with Warner Music and Atlantic Records to make the Marwas Studio in "Boulevard City," led by Hussein Al-Yami, the regional center for music in the Middle East, in addition to an agreement with six leading Arab maestros and a permanent musical band in partnership with our strategic companies "Rotana" and "Benchmark."
In the cinema field, he explained that the first phase of the Big Time Fund to support more than 27 Saudi and international films has launched, including the film "The Sword of God – Khalid bin Al-Walid – and the Battle of Yarmouk," scheduled for release in 2027. He also announced a national film in partnership with the Ministry of Defense and with the support of Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, depicting the heroics of the Saudi army in combating terrorism, which will see the light at the end of next year or the beginning of the following year, and another film, with thanks from the Ministry of Interior and the Minister of Interior, addressing the Kingdom's efforts in combating drugs, featuring a global director through a true story.
He also revealed upcoming dramatic works, including the series "Abu Al-Muluk Abdul Malik bin Marwan," in partnership with MBC Studios, Sela Studio, and the Shahid platform.
During his speech, Al Sheikh indicated that the "Al-Husn" program will return this year with an exceptional version in collaboration with "Al-Husn Big Time Studio," with surprises including the participation of "Mr. Beast" and "Speed," and it is expected to be showcased on global platforms soon.
Al Sheikh announced a larger version of the Riyadh Comedy Festival next year, following the remarkable success achieved in its last edition.
He added, "We will also announce an important agreement with basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal, a beloved friend of the Kingdom and the region, as part of a strategic partnership in the field of sports, and he will announce the details himself soon."
He also announced a project in collaboration with the Korean company CG, where three major events will be organized next year, given the high demand for Korean content in the Kingdom and the region.
Al Sheikh added, "I am proud to have the great director Marwan Hamed, with whom we are working on the film 'The Blue Elephant – Part Three,' alongside supporting the film 'The Six' about the life of the great singer Umm Kulthum."
In his speech, he said, "We value our partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, which is a strategic partner in promoting our ideas and events, and we are hosting them this year in Boulevard World with a major event that we expect to achieve record numbers."
He clarified, "Last year, the Kingdom achieved significant growth in the number of visitors and tourism revenues, becoming the second in the region in tourism revenue, and we strive for more, God willing, in positive competition for the benefit of the entire region."
Al Sheikh added, "We cherish our close partnership with the Ministry of Culture, in films and events, and they are always supportive of us, and I thank them for the great coordination."
In his speech, Al Sheikh emphasized that entertainment is no longer a luxury but has become a fundamental pillar for enhancing the quality of life and a strategic field in the national development journey, pointing out that the Kingdom is not just placing its name on the map but is today leading the world of entertainment globally thanks to the ambitious vision and unprecedented projects, calling on the participating companies in the forum to benefit from their presence by concluding several deals with their counterparts.
In conclusion, he greeted the Syrian star Taim Hassan, praising the return of Syrian art to its Arab surroundings, and announcing upcoming artistic surprises with Syria as part of the Riyadh Season events and beyond.
