كرم أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، بديوان الإمارة اليوم (الإثنين)، المتبرعين بالدم في الحملة الوطنية للتبرع بالدم، التي أطلقها ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز.
وأشاد أمير المنطقة الشرقية بالحملة وما نتج عنها من نتائج إيجابية أسهمت في تعزيز الوعي بأهمية التبرع بالدم، وترسيخ مفهوم المسؤولية الاجتماعية بين أفراد المجتمع، مؤكدا أن هذه الجهود تعكس حرص القيادة الرشيدة على دعم المبادرات الصحية والإنسانية التي تسهم في إنقاذ الأرواح وتعزيز جودة الحياة، وترسخ روح التكافل والعطاء التي يتحلى بها أبناء الوطن. وقدم أمير المنطقة الشرقية شكره للمتبرعين وثمّن عملهم الإنساني النبيل ومساهمتهم في دعم المنظومة الصحية.
وألقى مدير عام فرع وزارة الصحة بالمنطقة الشرقية علوان الشمراني كلمة استعرض فيها نتائج الحملة الوطنية للتبرع بالدم، التي ساهمت في استقطاب 48% من المتبرعين الجدد، بمشاركة 52% من المتبرعين الدائمين، إذ بلغت نسبة الرجال 82%، فيما بلغ إجمالي عدد المتبرعين 3749 متبرعا، ما يعكس نجاح الحملة في تعزيز ثقافة التبرع بالدم، كما أسهمت الحملة في توفير 8% من فصائل الدم النادرة، وتعزيز المخزون الإستراتيجي للمنطقة لتلبية حاجات المرضى.
وأضاف الشمراني أن الحملة نُفذت في 94 موقعا بمختلف مدن ومحافظات المنطقة الشرقية، وشهدت تعاونا واسعا من الجهات الحكومية والخاصة، ما أسهم في رفع مستوى المشاركة المجتمعية في المبادرات الصحية، وترسيخ مكانة المنطقة الشرقية في دعم القطاع الصحي.
وفي ختام الحفل، كرم أمير المنطقة الشرقية 25 متبرعا تبرعوا بأكثر من 50 مرة؛ تقديرا لعطائهم الإنساني ومساهمتهم في إنقاذ الأرواح، كما كرم الجهات المشاركة والداعمة للحملة نظير جهودها في إنجاح فعالياتها وتحقيق أهدافها الإنسانية.
The Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, honored the blood donors at the Emirate's Diwan today (Monday) as part of the national blood donation campaign launched by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
The Prince of the Eastern Province praised the campaign and its positive outcomes, which contributed to raising awareness about the importance of blood donation and reinforcing the concept of social responsibility among community members. He affirmed that these efforts reflect the leadership's commitment to supporting health and humanitarian initiatives that help save lives and enhance the quality of life, while also fostering the spirit of solidarity and giving that characterizes the citizens of the nation. The Prince expressed his gratitude to the donors and appreciated their noble humanitarian work and their contributions to supporting the health system.
The Director General of the Ministry of Health branch in the Eastern Province, Alwan Al-Shamrani, delivered a speech in which he reviewed the results of the national blood donation campaign, which attracted 48% of new donors, with the participation of 52% of regular donors. The percentage of men was 82%, and the total number of donors reached 3,749, reflecting the campaign's success in promoting a culture of blood donation. The campaign also contributed to providing 8% of rare blood types and enhancing the strategic stockpile in the region to meet patients' needs.
Al-Shamrani added that the campaign was implemented in 94 locations across various cities and governorates in the Eastern Province, witnessing extensive cooperation from government and private entities, which helped raise the level of community participation in health initiatives and solidify the Eastern Province's position in supporting the health sector.
At the end of the ceremony, the Prince of the Eastern Province honored 25 donors who donated more than 50 times in recognition of their humanitarian contributions and their role in saving lives. He also honored the participating and supporting entities for their efforts in making the campaign's events successful and achieving its humanitarian goals.
