دشن أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، اليوم (الأربعاء)، فعاليات النسخة الثامنة من معرض الحرف والأعمال اليدوية 2025، الذي تنظمه غرفة الشرقية في معارض الظهران إكسبو، بمشاركة أكثر من 300 عارض من أصحاب الحرف والفنون اليدوية والأسر المنتجة، إلى جانب جهات حكومية وخاصة وجمعيات أهلية داعمة.
وفي بداية الحفل، تجوّل أمير المنطقة الشرقية في أجنحة المعرض، حيث التقى عددا من الحرفيين والحرفيات، واستمع إلى شرح حول منتجاتهم وإبداعاتهم، مشيداً بما يقدمونه من أعمال مميزة تعزز من قيمة العمل اليدوي في المجتمع، مؤكدًا أن دعم الدولة لهذا القطاع، واختيار عام 2025 ليكون عامًا للحرف اليدوية، يعكس ما تمثله هذه الحرف من ارتباط وثيق بتاريخنا وأصالتنا، إلى جانب حضورها البارز على المستويين المحلي والدولي، ودورها في إبراز الهوية الوطنية وتعزيز مكانتها.
من جانبه، عبّر رئيس غرفة الشرقية بدر الرزيزاء عن شكره وتقديره لأمير المنطقة الشرقية على رعايته المستمرة للمعرض، مشيرًا إلى أن الغرفة عملت منذ إطلاق المعرض في نسخته الأولى عام 2015 على أن يكون منصة موسمية رائدة لتمكين الحرفيين والفنانين التشكيليين والأسر المنتجة، بما يسهم في إبراز مواهبهم وتسويق منتجاتهم.
وأوضح الرزيزاء أن المعرض يُجسد التوجه الوطني نحو تمكين قطاع الحرف والأعمال اليدوية، مواكبًا في ذلك قرار مجلس الوزراء بأن يكون عام 2025 عامًا للحرف اليدوية، بما يعزز دوره في دعم الاقتصاد الوطني نحو التنويع والاستدامة، ضمن مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030. كما أشار إلى أن المعرض يُعد الأضخم من نوعه على مستوى المنطقة الشرقية، حيث يوفر مساحة لعرض المواهب والإبداعات، ويتيح للأسر المنتجة وأصحاب الحرف التواصل مع جمهور واسع.
ويضم المعرض أقسامًا متنوعة تشمل الحرف والأعمال اليدوية، والفنون التشكيلية، والديكور، والطبخ والمأكولات، والعطور والبخور، والحلويات والقهوة والبهارات، إضافة إلى أجنحة خاصة بالجمعيات الأهلية والمراكز التنموية والهيئات ذات العلاقة.
كما نوّه الرزيزاء بدور غرفة الشرقية، ممثلة في مركز المسؤولية الاجتماعية، في تعزيز دور قطاع الأعمال في خدمة المجتمع من خلال برامج ومبادرات تدعم المشاريع التنموية وريادة الأعمال، وتسهم في رفع فاعلية الفرد في التنمية الوطنية.
وفي ختام الحفل، كرّم أمير المنطقة الشرقية الجهات الراعية والداعمة للمعرض من القطاعين العام والخاص، كما كرّم أبناء الفقيد متعب العنزي -رحمه الله- أحد منسوبي غرفة الشرقية، نظير ما قدمه من جهود في مجال المسؤولية الاجتماعية.
يذكر أن النسخ السبع السابقة من المعرض حققت نجاحًا لافتًا على مستوى الإقبال والمشاركة، حيث حظي المعرض بإشادة واسعة من الزوّار، ولتعزيز هذا النجاح، تم هذا العام إصدار دليل تسويقي إلكتروني يوزع على الزوار، يتضمن قائمة شاملة بالأسر المنتجة المشاركة ومنتجاتهم مع روابط حساباتهم الإلكترونية، مما يسهل استمرار تسويق منتجاتهم بعد انتهاء المعرض.
The Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, inaugurated today (Wednesday) the eighth edition of the Crafts and Handicrafts Exhibition 2025, organized by the Eastern Chamber at the Dhahran Expo, with the participation of more than 300 exhibitors from artisans, craftsmen, and productive families, alongside supporting governmental and private entities and charitable associations.
At the beginning of the event, the Prince of the Eastern Province toured the exhibition's pavilions, where he met several artisans and craftswomen, listened to explanations about their products and creations, and praised their distinctive works that enhance the value of handicrafts in society. He emphasized that the state's support for this sector and the designation of 2025 as the Year of Handicrafts reflects the close connection these crafts have with our history and authenticity, as well as their prominent presence on both local and international levels, and their role in highlighting national identity and enhancing its status.
For his part, the Chairman of the Eastern Chamber, Badr Al-Raziza, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Prince of the Eastern Province for his continuous sponsorship of the exhibition, noting that the chamber has worked since the launch of the exhibition in its first edition in 2015 to make it a leading seasonal platform for empowering artisans, visual artists, and productive families, contributing to showcasing their talents and marketing their products.
Al-Raziza explained that the exhibition embodies the national trend towards empowering the crafts and handicrafts sector, in line with the Cabinet's decision to designate 2025 as the Year of Handicrafts, which enhances its role in supporting the national economy towards diversification and sustainability, as part of the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. He also pointed out that the exhibition is the largest of its kind in the Eastern Province, providing a space to showcase talents and creations, and allowing productive families and artisans to connect with a wide audience.
The exhibition includes various sections covering crafts and handicrafts, visual arts, decor, cooking and food, perfumes and incense, sweets, coffee, and spices, in addition to special pavilions for charitable associations, developmental centers, and related authorities.
Al-Raziza also highlighted the role of the Eastern Chamber, represented by the Social Responsibility Center, in enhancing the role of the business sector in serving the community through programs and initiatives that support developmental projects and entrepreneurship, contributing to increasing individual effectiveness in national development.
At the end of the event, the Prince of the Eastern Province honored the sponsoring and supporting entities of the exhibition from both the public and private sectors, as well as the children of the late Muteb Al-Anzi - may he rest in peace - one of the members of the Eastern Chamber, in recognition of his efforts in the field of social responsibility.
It is worth mentioning that the previous seven editions of the exhibition achieved remarkable success in terms of attendance and participation, receiving wide acclaim from visitors. To enhance this success, an electronic marketing guide was issued this year, distributed to visitors, which includes a comprehensive list of participating productive families and their products along with links to their online accounts, facilitating the continued marketing of their products after the exhibition ends.
