ثمّن وزير الصحة فهد بن عبدالرحمن الجلاجل، صدور قرار مجلس الوزراء بالموافقة على تنظيم المعهد الوطني لأبحاث الصحة، مؤكدًا أن ذلك يجسّد اهتمام القيادة، بتطوير منظومة البحث والتطوير في القطاع الصحي، وتعزيز استدامة المنظومة الصحية بما يدعم ريادة المملكة في مجالات الطب والبحث العلمي على المستويين الإقليمي والعالمي.
وقال الجلاجل: «تنظيم المعهد الوطني لأبحاث الصحة يُمثل خطوة محورية في مسار تطوير القطاع الصحي، إذ يرسخ ثقافة الابتكار والبحث العلمي، ويدعم بناء اقتصاد معرفي قائم على الأبحاث الطبية والتجارب السريرية، بما يعزز جاهزية النظام الصحي ويرفع كفاءته، في انسجامٍ مع مستهدفات برنامج تحول القطاع الصحي المنبثق من رؤية المملكة 2030 لبناء «مجتمع حيوي» ينعم بالصحة وجودة الحياة، و «اقتصاد مزدهر» يقوم على الابتكار لصناعة مستقبل أكثر تطورًا واستدامة».
واختتم الجلاجل تصريحه بالتأكيد أن المنظومة الصحية تمضي في مواصلة جهودها التطويرية بالتكامل مع المعهد الوطني لأبحاث الصحة، في نموذج يُجسّد التنسيق والعمل التكاملي الفاعل، الذي يعزز الربط بين البحث والتطبيق لرفع كفاءة الخدمات الصحية وصولًا إلى نظام صحي مستدام.
Health Minister Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel praised the issuance of the Cabinet's decision to approve the organization of the National Institute for Health Research, emphasizing that this reflects the leadership's interest in developing the research and development system in the health sector and enhancing the sustainability of the health system to support the Kingdom's leadership in the fields of medicine and scientific research at both the regional and global levels.
Al-Jalajel stated: "The organization of the National Institute for Health Research represents a pivotal step in the development of the health sector, as it establishes a culture of innovation and scientific research, and supports the building of a knowledge-based economy grounded in medical research and clinical trials, which enhances the readiness of the health system and raises its efficiency, in harmony with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program stemming from the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to build a 'vibrant society' that enjoys health and quality of life, and a 'prosperous economy' based on innovation to create a more advanced and sustainable future."
Al-Jalajel concluded his statement by affirming that the health system continues its developmental efforts in integration with the National Institute for Health Research, in a model that embodies effective coordination and collaborative work, which enhances the connection between research and application to raise the efficiency of health services, leading to a sustainable health system.
