يأتي اليوم العالمي للمعلم هذا العام والمملكة العربية السعودية تمضي بخطى ثابتة نحو ترسيخ التعليم كركيزة للتحول الوطني، يقودها المعلم السعودي بعطاءٍ يتجاوز جدران الصف، إلى بناء الإنسان وتنمية الوعي وصناعة المستقبل.
تشير الإحصاءات إلى وجود أكثر من 700 ألف معلم ومعلمة وإداري يخدمون ما يزيد على 6 ملايين طالب وطالبة في أكثر من 40 ألف مدرسة موزعة على مناطق المملكة.
وتتصدر الرياض بأكثر من 118 ألف معلم و1.6 مليون طالب، تليها مكة المكرمة بـ112 ألف معلم، والمنطقة الشرقية بـ65 ألفاً، في منظومة تعليمية متكاملة تُعد الأكبر في المنطقة.
أضحى المعلم السعودي اليوم محوراً للتنمية، وسفيراً للتحول الرقمي في التعليم، ومُلهماً لأجيال تتقن أدوات العصر وتتشبّث بقيمها الوطنية.
فهو لا يكتفي بنقل المعرفة، بل يصوغها ويمزجها بروح الانتماء، ويحوّل الفصول إلى منصات للإبداع، تُثمر طلاباً يفكرون ويبتكرون.

Riyadh leads with more than 118,000 teachers and 1.6 million students, followed by Mecca with 112,000 teachers, and the Eastern Province with 65,000, in a comprehensive educational system that is the largest in the region.
