The head of the Kingdom's Permanent Mission to the United Nations, Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasel, chaired one of the sessions on the fifth day of the high-level general debate of the General Assembly in its eightieth session at the United Nations headquarters in New York.

The session, chaired by Ambassador Al-Wasel, witnessed speeches from several foreign ministers and representatives of member states, addressing the most prominent international and regional issues on the General Assembly's agenda.
