وأوضح المركز الوطني لرصد الزلازل أن مركز الزلزال وقع على عمق 195 كلم في سلسلة جبال هندوكوش بأفغانستان، وشعر به سكان إسلام آباد، وإقليم خيبر بختونخوا الشمالي الغربي، وأجزاء من البنجاب، دون ورود تقارير فورية تُفيد بوجود خسائر بشرية أو أضرار مادية.
A 5.5 magnitude earthquake struck today in northern Pakistan.
The National Earthquake Monitoring Center explained that the epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 195 km in the Hindu Kush mountain range in Afghanistan, and it was felt by residents of Islamabad, the northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, and parts of Punjab, with no immediate reports of casualties or material damage.
