تظل رسالة مركز الإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية التي أسسها خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز ذات رسالة عظيمة تحمل أبعاداً إنسانيةً بعيداً عن الدوافع والأجندات، تعمل جنباً إلى جنب مع المؤسسات والهيئات الاغاثية المعتمدة. وهو المنهاج الذي يرتكز عليه المركز في أداء رسالته الإنسانية، إذ يعتمد في أعماله على ثوابت تنطلق من أهداف سامية، ترتكز على تقديم المساعدات للمحتاجين، وإغاثة المنكوبين في أي مكان من العالم بآلية رصد دقيقة وطرق نقل متطورة وسريعة، تتم من خلال الاستعانة بمنظمات الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات غير الربحية الدولية والمحلية ذات الموثوقية العالية في الدول المستفيدة.
وتحقق نهج الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز على أرض الواقع، إذ امتدت أشرعة العون من المركز إلى العالم أجمع بلا تمييز، ووصلت السلاسل الإغاثية والجسور الجوية إلى كل المعمورة، وانطلقت السعودية في هذا المحور منذ تأسيسها على يد الملك المؤسس، واستمرت رحلة العون والعطاء بلا تمييز، وقدمت السعودية مبادرات عدة لتقديم المساندة والدعم للأفراد وللدول الشقيقة انطلاقاً من إيمانها ورؤيتها وكونها عضوًا فاعلاً في المجتمع الدولي وقلباً نابضاً للعالم الإسلامي، وشملت مساعداتها الإغاثية والإنسانية الكثير من الدول النامية، ولا تزال جسور الخير ممتدة في كل مكان.
مشاريع وبرامج متنوعة
وروعي أن تكون مشاريع وبرامج المركز متنوعة بحسب مستحقيها وظروفهم، وتشمل المساعدات جميع قطاعات العمل الإغاثي والإنساني، الأمن الإغاثي، إدارة المخيمات، الإيواء، التعافي المبكر، الحماية، التعليم، المياه والإصحاح البيئي، التغذية، الصحة، دعم العمليات الإنسانية، الخدمات اللوجستية، الاتصالات في الطوارئ.
وسجل مركز الملك سلمان حضوراً دولياً لافتاً في المشهد الإنساني من خلال تنفيذه 2,120 مشروعاً إنسانياً وإغاثياً في 86 دولة حول العالم، شاملة قطاعات حيوية عدة. ويشكل العمل التطوعي ركناً مهماً في أعمال المركز، إذ نفذ مئات البرامج التطوعية في مجالات متعددة منها برامج طبية في مكافحة العمى والأمراض المسببة له، وجراحة القلب المفتوح والقسطرة، إلى جانب برامج الجراحات المتخصصة، بمشاركة كوادر سعودية متطوعة من الأطباء والمتخصصين لتقديم العلاج لآلاف المستفيدين من الأسر ذوي الدخل المحدود في الدول المستهدفة.
وسيّرت السعودية بتوجيهات مباشرة من خادم الحرمين وولي العهد جسوراً جوية متواصلة وممتدة إلى متضرري الزلازل وضحايا الفيضانات في كل دول العالم.
The message of the Relief and Humanitarian Work Center, established by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, carries a great message with humanitarian dimensions, free from motives and agendas. It works alongside accredited relief institutions and organizations. This is the approach the center relies on in carrying out its humanitarian mission, as it bases its work on constants that stem from noble goals, focusing on providing assistance to those in need and aiding the affected in any part of the world through precise monitoring mechanisms and advanced, rapid transportation methods, utilizing the support of United Nations organizations and highly reliable international and local non-profit organizations in the beneficiary countries.
The approach of King Salman bin Abdulaziz has been realized on the ground, as the sails of aid from the center have extended to the entire world without discrimination, and relief chains and air bridges have reached every corner of the globe. Saudi Arabia has embarked on this path since its establishment by the founding king, and the journey of aid and giving has continued without discrimination. Saudi Arabia has launched several initiatives to provide support and assistance to individuals and brotherly countries, stemming from its belief and vision as an active member of the international community and a vibrant heart of the Islamic world. Its humanitarian and relief assistance has included many developing countries, and the bridges of goodness continue to extend everywhere.
Diverse Projects and Programs
The center's projects and programs have been designed to be diverse according to the beneficiaries and their circumstances, covering all sectors of relief and humanitarian work, including relief security, camp management, shelter, early recovery, protection, education, water and environmental sanitation, nutrition, health, support for humanitarian operations, logistics, and emergency communications.
The King Salman Center has made a notable international presence in the humanitarian scene by implementing 2,120 humanitarian and relief projects in 86 countries around the world, covering several vital sectors. Voluntary work forms an important pillar of the center's activities, as it has executed hundreds of volunteer programs in various fields, including medical programs to combat blindness and its causes, open-heart surgery, and catheterization, alongside specialized surgical programs, with the participation of Saudi volunteer doctors and specialists providing treatment to thousands of beneficiaries from low-income families in the targeted countries.
Saudi Arabia, under the direct guidance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, has established continuous and extended air bridges to assist earthquake victims and flood victims in all countries of the world.
