أسهمت شفاعة أمير منطقة الباحة الأمير الدكتور حسام بن سعود بن عبدالعزيز، في العفو عن مواطن محكوم بالقصاص، قبل يوم واحد من موعد تنفيذ الحكم.
وجاء العفو عقب لقاء الأمير حسام أولياء دم المجني عليه في ديوان الإمارة، وتثمينه العفو، وتعبيره عن الامتنان لأولياء الدم على الاستجابة لشفاعته، وعدّه موقفاً كريماً، مؤكداً أن العفو عند المقدرة من صفات المؤمنين، ومن شيم وأخلاق أهل الإسلام، وهو من عزائم الأمور التي يُثيب الله عليها، ويرفع بها الدرجات، مشيداً بما أبدوه أولياء الدم من روح العفو، واصفاً موقفهم بالمشرّف والإنساني الذي يُجسد القيم النبيلة والتراحم الذي يتميز به مجتمعنا، لافتاً إلى أن نهج القيادة الرشيدة -أيدها الله- يرسخ مبادئ العدل، ويدعو دائماً إلى إصلاح ذات البين، ونشر ثقافة التسامح، وتحقيق التلاحم المجتمعي.
فيما عبّر أولياء الدم عن بالغ شكرهم وامتنانهم لأمير منطقة الباحة على شفاعته وسعيه الخيّر، مؤكدين أن تحكيم شرع الله والحرص على الصلح هو ما قامت عليه هذه البلاد المباركة بقيادتها الحكيمة.
The intercession of the Emir of Al-Baha, Prince Dr. Hussam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, contributed to the pardon of a citizen sentenced to retribution, just one day before the execution of the sentence.
The pardon came after Prince Hussam met with the heirs of the victim in the Emirate's Diwan, appreciating their forgiveness and expressing gratitude to the heirs for responding to his intercession. He regarded it as a noble stance, affirming that forgiveness when one has the ability is a characteristic of the believers and a virtue of the people of Islam. It is one of the resolute matters for which Allah rewards and elevates ranks. He praised the heirs for their spirit of forgiveness, describing their stance as honorable and humanitarian, embodying the noble values and compassion that characterize our community. He pointed out that the approach of the wise leadership - may Allah support it - reinforces the principles of justice, always calls for reconciliation, promotes a culture of tolerance, and achieves community cohesion.
Meanwhile, the heirs expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to the Emir of Al-Baha for his intercession and good efforts, affirming that upholding the law of Allah and striving for reconciliation is what this blessed country has been built upon under its wise leadership.
