حلَّ الأمين العام لرابطة العالم الإسلامي رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين الشيخ الدكتور محمد بن عبدالكريم العيسى، «ضيفَ شرفٍ» على المؤتمر الثامن لقادة الأديان المنعقد في جمهورية كازاخستان.

وألقى العيسى كلمة تطرّقَ فيها إلى التحوّلات الدولية المقلقة التي تفاقمت فيها كثير من المآسي والتحدّيات، وطالت نظامَنا العالمي وهدّدت تماسكَ شرعيته الدولية، مشدّدًا في هذا السياق على التأثير الروحي بالغ الأهمية للقادة الدينيين، والحاجة إلى أن تكون المرجعياتُ الروحية طرَفاً فاعلاً في صناعة السلام، ورفع الوعي العالمي بأن الصدام والصراع لا يولدان إلا شرًّا يطال الجميع.
وركّزت كلمة العيسى على الوضع في قطاع غزة، مشدّدًا فيها على أن ما يتعرض له من إبادة جماعية، وتجويع إجرامي منظَّم، هو في توصيفه الإنساني وصمة عار في جبين المجتمع الدولي.

Al-Issa delivered a speech in which he addressed the concerning international transformations that have exacerbated many tragedies and challenges, affecting our global system and threatening the cohesion of its international legitimacy. He emphasized, in this context, the critically important spiritual influence of religious leaders and the need for spiritual references to be an active party in peacebuilding, raising global awareness that conflict and strife only produce evil that affects everyone.
Al-Issa's speech focused on the situation in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing that what it is experiencing in terms of genocide and organized criminal starvation is, in his humanitarian description, a stain on the conscience of the international community.
