وجَّه خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، بإطلاق اسم «الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز»، على طريق المطار الذي يربط المسجد النبوي وصولًا إلى طريق الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز المؤدي إلى مطار الأمير محمد بن عبدالعزيز الدولي، والصالة الملكية في المنفذ الجوي، مرورًا بمشروع رؤى المدينة الذي يُعدّ أكبر مشروع ضيافة في العالم.
وبهذه المناسبة، رفع أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة رئيس مجلس هيئة تطوير المنطقة الأمير سلمان بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة رئيس مجلس هيئة تطوير المنطقة، الشكر والتقدير لخادم الحرمين الشريفين، ولولي العهد، منوهًا بالدور الريادي لولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، في إطلاق المبادرات التنموية والمشروعات الإستراتيجية على مستوى المملكة، التي تركت أثرًا ملموسًا في مختلف المناطق، ومنها المدينة المنورة.
ويُعدّ طريق «الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز»، محورًا إستراتيجيًا في المدينة المنورة، حيث يمتد مسافة 13 كيلومترًا، ويتقاطع مع أهم الطرق الرئيسة، وهي: طريق الملك فيصل بن عبدالعزيز (الدائري الأول)، وطريق الملك عبداللّه بن عبدالعزيز (الدائري الثاني)، وطريق الملك خالد بن عبدالعزيز (الدائري الثالث)، كما يُقام على امتداد «طريق الأمير محمد بن سلمان» عدد من المشروعات التطويرية التي تنفذها أمانة منطقة المدينة المنورة، وهيئة تطوير المنطقة، أبرزها «أنسنة المدينة»؛ لتطوير مسارات المركبات والمشاة، وواجهات المباني، ضمن الموجهات التصميمية لخارطة العِمارَة السعودية في إطار تعزيز جودة الحياة، وتطوير المشهد الحضري، إلى جانب مشروع التأهيل البيئي لوادي قناة، أحد أهم الأودية التاريخية.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, has directed that the name "Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz" be given to the airport road that connects the Prophet's Mosque to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Road leading to Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport, and the royal terminal at the air gateway, passing through the Vision of the City project, which is considered the largest hospitality project in the world.
On this occasion, the Emir of the Medina Region, Chairman of the Board of the Region Development Authority, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and to the Crown Prince, highlighting the pioneering role of the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in launching developmental initiatives and strategic projects across the Kingdom, which have left a tangible impact in various regions, including Medina.
The "Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz" road is a strategic axis in Medina, extending for 13 kilometers and intersecting with the most important main roads, namely: King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Road (the first ring road), King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Road (the second ring road), and King Khalid bin Abdulaziz Road (the third ring road). Additionally, several developmental projects are being implemented along the "Prince Mohammed bin Salman" road by the Medina Region Municipality and the Region Development Authority, the most notable of which is "Humanizing the City"; aimed at developing vehicle and pedestrian pathways and building facades, within the design directives of the Saudi urban development map to enhance the quality of life and improve the urban landscape, alongside the environmental rehabilitation project for Wadi Qana, one of the most important historical valleys.
