التقى وزير الدفاع الأمير خالد بن سلمان، في الرياض اليوم، الأمين العام للمجلس الأعلى للأمن القومي الإيراني علي لاريجاني.
وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض العلاقات السعودية الإيرانية، وبحث تطورات الأوضاع الإقليمية والجهود المبذولة تجاهها لتحقيق الأمن والاستقرار، إضافةً إلى مناقشة عددٍ من القضايا والموضوعات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
حضر اللقاء وزير الدولة عضو مجلس الوزراء مستشار الأمن الوطني الدكتور مساعد بن محمد العيبان، ورئيس الاستخبارات العامة خالد بن علي الحميدان، والمستشار بالديوان الملكي خالد بن فريد حضراوي، ومستشار وزير الدفاع لشؤون الاستخبارات هشام بن عبدالعزيز بن سيف. فيما حضره من الجانب الإيراني سفير الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية لدى المملكة علي رضا عنايتي، وعدد من المسؤولين.
Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman met today in Riyadh with the Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Ali Larijani.
During the meeting, they reviewed Saudi-Iranian relations and discussed developments in the regional situation and the efforts being made to achieve security and stability, in addition to discussing a number of issues and topics of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers, and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, the Head of General Intelligence Khalid bin Ali Al-Humaidan, the Advisor at the Royal Court Khalid bin Farid Hadravi, and the Minister of Defense's Advisor for Intelligence Affairs Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif. From the Iranian side, it was attended by the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Kingdom, Ali Reza Enayati, along with a number of officials.
