عبدالعزيز بن سعود ووزير الداخلية الكويتي يبحثان التعاون الأمني بين البلدين

The Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, and the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, held an official discussion session in Kuwait today.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud confirmed that this meeting came based on the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, to enhance security cooperation in light of the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries.

During the session, they reviewed the historical brotherly relations that bind the Kingdom and the State of Kuwait, and the continuous development in various fields, especially the existing security cooperation between the interior ministries of the two brotherly countries.

Information and Experience Exchange.. and Cooperation in Combating Crimes

The meeting discussed several topics related to the fields of information and experience exchange, cooperation in combating organized crime, enhancing the security training system, and developing human competencies, in addition to joint efforts in utilizing the latest technologies and security systems, and coordinating in the field of border security to ensure its safety and enhance joint monitoring, contributing to the protection of the security and stability of both countries.

The Minister of Interior and his Kuwaiti counterpart praised the ongoing work within the Military and Security Coordination Committee emanating from the Saudi-Kuwaiti Coordination Council, affirming their commitment to enhancing the path of joint security cooperation to meet the aspirations of the leaderships of the two brotherly countries.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud was briefed on an introductory presentation about the key efforts of the Ministry of Interior of the State of Kuwait in enhancing security, combating crime, and the modern technological developments used in the ministry's security departments.

The session was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the State of Kuwait, Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khalid, Assistant Minister of Interior Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al-Falih, Director of Public Security Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, Director General of the Minister's Office for Studies and Research Major General Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Arouan, Director General of Border Guards Major General Shaya bin Salem Al-Wadani, Director General of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Essa, and a number of senior officials from the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior.
