ضبطت دوريات الفصيل الجبلي بالقوات الخاصة للأمن البيئي، 3 مواطنين مخالفين لنظام البيئة؛ لارتكابهم مخالفة الشروع في الصيد دون ترخيص في محمية الإمام تركي بن عبدالله الملكية، وبحوزتهم بندقية شوزن وبندقيتان هوائيتان و801 ذخيرة هوائية، وطُبقت الإجراءات النظامية بحقهم.
وشدّدت القوات على أهمية الالتزام بنظام البيئة ولوائحه التنفيذية، التي تجرم صيد الكائنات الفطرية، مؤكدةً أن عقوبة الصيد في أماكن محظور الصيد فيها غرامة 5,000 ريال، وعقوبة الصيد دون ترخيص غرامة 10,000 ريال، وعقوبة استخدام بنادق الشوزن في الصيد دون ترخيص غرامة 100,000 ريال.
وأهابت في الوقت ذاته، بالمبادرة بالإبلاغ عن أي حالات تمثل اعتداءً على البيئة أو الحياة الفطرية، وذلك بالاتصال بالرقم (911) بمناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والرياض والشرقية، و(999) و(996) في بقية مناطق المملكة، وستعامل جميع البلاغات بسرية تامة دون أدنى مسؤولية على المبلّغ.
The mountain faction patrols of the special forces for environmental security apprehended 3 citizens for violating the environmental system; they were caught attempting to hunt without a license in the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve, and they were in possession of a shotgun, two air rifles, and 801 air pellets. Legal procedures were applied against them.
The forces emphasized the importance of adhering to the environmental system and its executive regulations, which criminalize the hunting of wildlife. They confirmed that the penalty for hunting in prohibited areas is a fine of 5,000 riyals, the penalty for hunting without a license is a fine of 10,000 riyals, and the penalty for using shotguns for hunting without a license is a fine of 100,000 riyals.
At the same time, they urged the public to report any cases that represent an assault on the environment or wildlife by calling (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions. All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality, with no liability on the reporter.
