أعفى الدليل التنظيمي لمدارس التعليم العام، ثلاث فئات من شاغلي الوظائف التعليمية من أعمال المناوبة بعد خروج الطلاب ظهراً، والإشراف اليومي في الفسحة، والمناوبة في حال غياب المعلمين والمعلمات خلال اليوم الدراسي المعتاد.
ونص الدليل على أن مدير المدرسة والوكيل والموجه الصحي لا تشملهم هذه الأعمال طوال العام الدراسي، بينما أعفي مساعد المعلم في فصول التعليم العام وفصول ذوي الإعاقة والمساعد الإداري ومسجل المعلومات من حصص الانتظار فقط ويلزمهم القيام بمهام المناوبة والإشراف اليومي.
وأوضح الدليل أن الفئات التي يتعين عليها القيام بالمهمات الثلاث هي: المعلم ومعلم ذوي الإعاقة ومعلم الموهوبين ومعلمة رياض الأطفال ورائد النشاط والموجه الطلابي وأمين مصادر التعلم ومحضر المختبر.

The organizational guide for public education schools exempts three categories of educational staff from duties such as supervising students after they leave in the afternoon, daily supervision during breaks, and covering for absent teachers during the regular school day.
The guide states that the school principal, the vice principal, and the health supervisor are not included in these duties throughout the school year, while the teaching assistant in general education classes, classes for students with disabilities, the administrative assistant, and the information registrar are only exempt from waiting periods and are required to perform duties related to supervision and daily oversight.
The guide clarified that the categories required to carry out the three tasks are: the teacher, the special education teacher, the gifted teacher, the kindergarten teacher, the activity leader, the student counselor, the learning resources coordinator, and the laboratory technician.
