وقّع مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية، أمس، في دمشق اتفاقية تعاون مشترك مع إحدى مؤسسات المجتمع المدني؛ لإعادة تأهيل المدارس المتضررة في محافظات حلب وإدلب وحمص بالجمهورية العربية السورية، بحضور المستشار بالديوان الملكي المشرف العام على المركز الدكتور عبدالله الربيعة، ووزير الطوارئ وإدارة الكوارث رائد الصالح.
وقع الاتفاقية مساعد المشرف العام على المركز للعمليات والبرامج المهندس أحمد البيز.
وسيجري بموجب الاتفاقية إعادة تأهيل وتأثيث 34 مدرسة حكومية متضررة، وتجهيز 60 فصلاً دراسيّاً بكامل المتطلبات، وبناء 16 دورة مياه، وتركيب 39 من منظومات الطاقة الشمسية لضمان توفير الكهرباء بشكل مستدام في عدد من المدارس، يستفيد منها 26,197) فرداً.
كما وقّع المركز اتفاقية تعاون مشترك مع وزارة الطوارئ وإدارة الكوارث السورية؛ لتأهيل آبار العقدة الثامنة في محافظة دمشق، وتهدف الاتفاقية لتأهيل 18 بئراً لتحسين جودة الحياة من خلال توفير المياه الآمنة والنقية للمجتمعات، والحد من انتشار الأمراض الوبائية الناتجة عن شرب المياه الملوثة، يستفيد منها 300 ألف فرد.
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center signed a cooperation agreement yesterday in Damascus with a civil society organization to rehabilitate damaged schools in the provinces of Aleppo, Idlib, and Homs in the Syrian Arab Republic. The signing was attended by Dr. Abdullah Al-Rubaia, the advisor at the Royal Court and the General Supervisor of the Center, and Raed Al-Saleh, the Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management.
The agreement was signed by the Assistant General Supervisor of the Center for Operations and Programs, Engineer Ahmed Al-Bayez.
According to the agreement, 34 damaged public schools will be rehabilitated and furnished, 60 classrooms will be equipped with all necessary requirements, 16 bathrooms will be constructed, and 39 solar energy systems will be installed to ensure sustainable electricity supply in several schools, benefiting 26,197 individuals.
The Center also signed a cooperation agreement with the Syrian Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management to rehabilitate the eighth cluster wells in the Damascus Governorate. The agreement aims to rehabilitate 18 wells to improve the quality of life by providing safe and clean water to communities and reducing the spread of epidemic diseases resulting from drinking contaminated water, benefiting 300,000 individuals.
