شارك قيادات ومسؤولون من المؤسسات الصحفية السعودية، في ورشة عمل متخصصة بعنوان: «النمو الإستراتيجي للإيرادات للمؤسسات الصحفية»، نظمتها أكاديمية واس للتدريب الإخباري بالتعاون مع السفارة الأمريكية في الرياض، وذلك ضمن برامج الأكاديمية الرامية إلى تطوير قدرات المؤسسات الإعلامية وتعزيز دورها في المرحلة المقبلة.
متطلبات سوق الإعلام
الورشة التي حضرها نخبة من ممثلي الصحف السعودية، ركزت على عدة محاور رئيسية، من أبرزها: تنويع مصادر الدخل، تطوير المحتوى التحريري، والاستفادة من البيانات في فهم توجهات الجمهور، بما يتماشى مع التحولات الرقمية ومتطلبات سوق الإعلام العالمي.
إستراتيجيات جديدة
وشهد البرنامج مشاركة الزميلين عبدالرحمن الأسمري وعبدالعزيز الشهري، ممثلين عن صحيفة عكاظ، حيث أكدا في مداخلاتهما أهمية تبني إستراتيجيات جديدة، تضمن استدامة المؤسسات الصحفية، وتعزز من قدرتها على المنافسة محلياً وإقليمياً.
وفي ختام الورشة، كرمت أكاديمية «واس» صحيفة عكاظ، تقديراً لدورها الإعلامي الريادي، وسط إشادة المشاركين بجهود الأكاديمية، في تقديم مبادرات نوعية تواكب مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 في قطاع الإعلام.
Leaders and officials from Saudi press institutions participated in a specialized workshop titled: “Strategic Revenue Growth for Press Institutions,” organized by the WAAZ Academy for News Training in collaboration with the American Embassy in Riyadh, as part of the academy's programs aimed at developing the capabilities of media institutions and enhancing their role in the upcoming phase.
Media Market Requirements
The workshop, attended by a select group of representatives from Saudi newspapers, focused on several key areas, most notably: diversifying income sources, developing editorial content, and utilizing data to understand audience trends, in line with digital transformations and the requirements of the global media market.
New Strategies
The program featured participation from colleagues Abdulrahman Al-Asmary and Abdulaziz Al-Shahri, representing Okaz Newspaper, who emphasized in their interventions the importance of adopting new strategies that ensure the sustainability of press institutions and enhance their ability to compete locally and regionally.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the WAAZ Academy honored Okaz Newspaper in recognition of its pioneering media role, with participants praising the academy's efforts in providing quality initiatives that align with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in the media sector.
