The "Regional Conference on Intellectual Property Enforcement Practices" has launched in Riyadh, organized by the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property. The conference is held in collaboration with the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council, in strategic partnership with the Japan Patent Office, the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and with the participation of the World Intellectual Property Organization, as well as national and regional intellectual property associations.

The conference addresses several key themes through panel discussions and specialized workshops, focusing on reviewing the latest trends in inspection and investigation processes, combating infringement of intellectual rights in the digital environment, in addition to enhancing judicial and customs cooperation among countries; it also aims to build the technical capacities of inspectors and enforcement specialists in the Gulf Cooperation Council and Arab countries.

The conference serves as a unique platform to enhance business sector confidence in the investment environment in the Kingdom, and to highlight the importance of integrating efforts among Gulf Cooperation Council countries to unify visions and tackle common challenges in the field of intellectual property.

The conference aims to strengthen the intellectual property enforcement system in the region, establishing the Kingdom's position as a regional leader in this vital field, and the Kingdom's commitment to providing an environment that fosters innovation and creativity while protecting intellectual rights.

The Authority confirmed that this conference is part of efforts to enhance the integration of Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Arab countries in all aspects of intellectual property, and to reinforce global business sector confidence in the intellectual property environment in the Kingdom.
