يأتي مؤتمر نيويورك لحل الدولتين، الذي ترأسه السعودية وفرنسا، ليعيد الزخم من جديد للقضية الفلسطينية وصولاً إلى دولة مستقلة ذات سيادة عاصمتها القدس الشرقية، وحقوق كاملة غير منقوصة للشعب الفلسطيني، الذي ما زال يعاني جراء العربدة الإسرائيلية.
ولم تتوقف جهود السعودية بقيادة خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان عن دعم القضية الفلسطينية، بل لا يكاد يمر يوم دون تسجيل موقف تدين من خلاله الممارسات والتصريحات الإسرائيلية التي تتمحور حول تهجير الفلسطينيين من أرضهم
بما في ذلك عن طريق معبر رفح، واستمرار استخدام الحصار والتجويع لفرض التهجير القسري، في انتهاك جسيم للقوانين والمبادئ الدولية وأبسط المعايير الإنسانية.
تبقى السعودية في تحركاتها اليومية الداعمة لفلسطين وشعبها، وما تقوم به من جهود عبر المنابر الدولية هي السند والعون الحقيقي لبقاء القضية الفلسطينية حية تنشد تحقيق آمال وتطلعات شعب أعزل في دولة مستقلة تحقق له الأمن والأمان والاستقرار أسوة بشعوب العالم، التي تعلن في كل مناسبة تضامنها مع الشعب الفلسطيني في نيل حقوقه المشروعة.
