تواصل بلدية محافظة الخفجي، تنفيذ مشروع إنشاء ساحة نموذجية في المنطقة المركزية على مساحة تتجاوز 18,400 متر مربع، وذلك ضمن جهودها لتطوير المرافق العامة وتحقيق مستهدفات برنامج جودة الحياة.
نسبة الإنجاز بلغت 55%
من جهته أوضح رئيس بلدية محافظة الخفجي المهندس محمد بن علي اليامي، بأن المشروع يتضمن ممرات مشاة، وأحواضا زراعية، ومناطق جلوس بكراسي جمالية، وأعمدة إنارة ديكورية، إضافة إلى جدارية وطنية، ومواقف سيارات تخدم مرتادي الساحة، مشيرًا إلى أن نسبة الإنجاز بلغت حتى الآن 55%.
ونوه بأن المشروع يأتي في إطار خطط البلدية الهادفة إلى تحسين المشهد الحضري، وزيادة الغطاء النباتي، وتوفير بيئة صحية مستدامة، بما يسهم في تعزيز أنسنة المدن وخلق مساحات عامة جاذبة للسكان والزوار، تماشيا مع إستراتيجية أمانة المنطقة الشرقية.
The Municipality of Al Khobar Governorate continues to implement the project for the establishment of a model square in the central area, covering an area of over 18,400 square meters, as part of its efforts to develop public facilities and achieve the objectives of the Quality of Life Program.
The completion rate has reached 55%
In this regard, the Mayor of Al Khobar Governorate, Engineer Mohammed bin Ali Al-Yami, clarified that the project includes pedestrian pathways, agricultural beds, seating areas with aesthetic chairs, decorative lighting poles, in addition to a national mural and parking spaces serving visitors to the square, noting that the completion rate has reached 55% so far.
He emphasized that the project is part of the municipality's plans aimed at improving the urban landscape, increasing green cover, and providing a sustainable healthy environment, contributing to enhancing the humanization of cities and creating attractive public spaces for residents and visitors, in line with the strategy of the Eastern Province Municipality.
