أعلنت هيئة الهلال الأحمر السعودي إدراج منهج الإسعافات الأولية في التعليم الثانوي اعتباراً من العام الدراسي 2025-2026م؛ بهدف إعداد جيل مؤهل يعزز السلامة المجتمعية وينشر ثقافة الإسعافات الأولية.
وقالت الهيئة إن الإدراج يمثل نقلة نوعية تهدف إلى تمكين الطلاب من المهارات العملية اللازمة للتعامل مع الحالات الطارئة، وتعزيز وعيهم بأهمية الإسعافات الأولية في حماية الأرواح.
وأوضحت أن المبادرة تأتي بالشراكة مع وزارة التعليم والمركز الوطني للمناهج، ضمن برامج التوعية الصحية الوطنية، وتهدف إلى دمج الثقافة الصحية والاستعداد للطوارئ في المناهج.
ويهدف المنهج إلى تزويد الطلاب بأساسيات الإسعافات الأولية والتعامل العملي مع الإصابات المختلفة مثل النزيف، والكسور، والحروق، والصدمات الحرارية، والإغماء، مع تدريبهم على الإنعاش القلبي الرئوي والإسعافات الطارئة للأطفال والبالغين، وتعزيز توجهاتهم المهنية نحو القطاع الصحي.
وسيُدرج المنهج ضمن المسار الاختياري، وقد صُمّم بأسلوب تفاعلي مبتكر يواكب أفضل الممارسات العالمية، ويخضع لتحكيم متخصص لضمان جودته بهدف تمكين الطلاب من تطبيق المهارات الإسعافية عملياً في حياتهم اليومية.

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority announced the inclusion of a first aid curriculum in secondary education starting from the academic year 2025-2026; with the aim of preparing a qualified generation that enhances community safety and spreads the culture of first aid.
The Authority stated that this inclusion represents a qualitative leap aimed at empowering students with the practical skills necessary to deal with emergencies and enhancing their awareness of the importance of first aid in saving lives.
It clarified that the initiative comes in partnership with the Ministry of Education and the National Center for Curricula, as part of national health awareness programs, and aims to integrate health culture and emergency preparedness into the curricula.
The curriculum aims to provide students with the basics of first aid and practical handling of various injuries such as bleeding, fractures, burns, heat shocks, and fainting, while training them in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency first aid for children and adults, and enhancing their professional orientations towards the health sector.
The curriculum will be included in the elective track and has been designed in an innovative interactive style that aligns with the best global practices, and is subject to specialized review to ensure its quality, with the aim of enabling students to apply first aid skills practically in their daily lives.
