استقبل أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة الأمير سلمان بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز، المدير التنفيذي لفرع القطاع الغربي بهيئة الصحة العامة «وقاية» الدكتور سري بن إبراهيم عسيري والوفد المرافق له.
واطّلع في مستهل اللقاء على أهداف الهيئة، والجهود والمبادرات التي تنفذها في مجالات تعزيز الصحة العامة والوقاية من الأمراض المعدية وغير المعدية، إضافةً إلى برامج التوعية الصحية، بما يتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 ومبادرات برنامج التحول الصحي الرامية إلى تحسين جودة الحياة ورفع كفاءة الخدمات الصحية.
وخلال اللقاء، أكد أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة أهمية الأدوار المحورية التي تضطلع بها الهيئة في تعزيز مستوى الوعي الصحي ووقاية المجتمع من المخاطر والأوبئة، مؤكّداً دعم الجهود الرامية إلى الارتقاء بمنظومة الصحة العامة في المدينة المنورة ومحافظاتها كافة.
من جهته، قدّم المدير التنفيذي لفرع القطاع الغربي بهيئة الصحة العامة «وقاية» شكره وتقديره لأمير منطقة المدينة المنورة على ما يلقاه قطاع الصحة العامة من اهتمام ورعاية، مؤكّداً أن الهيئة تعمل على تكثيف برامجها ومبادراتها في المنطقة عبر الشراكة مع مختلف القطاعات الحكومية والخاصة، بما يضمن تعزيز الوقاية ورفع مستوى الصحة العامة.
The Prince of the Medina Region, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, received the Executive Director of the Western Sector of the Public Health Authority "Prevention," Dr. Sari bin Ibrahim Asiri, and the accompanying delegation.
At the beginning of the meeting, he was briefed on the authority's objectives, the efforts and initiatives it implements in the fields of enhancing public health and preventing infectious and non-communicable diseases, in addition to health awareness programs, in line with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030 and the initiatives of the Health Transformation Program aimed at improving the quality of life and enhancing the efficiency of health services.
During the meeting, the Prince of the Medina Region emphasized the importance of the pivotal roles played by the authority in enhancing health awareness and protecting the community from risks and epidemics, affirming support for efforts aimed at elevating the public health system in Medina and all its governorates.
For his part, the Executive Director of the Western Sector of the Public Health Authority "Prevention" expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Prince of the Medina Region for the attention and care given to the public health sector, confirming that the authority is working to intensify its programs and initiatives in the region through partnerships with various government and private sectors, ensuring the enhancement of prevention and the improvement of public health levels.
