أصدرت الهيئة العامة للإحصاء نتائج نشرة إحصاءات الصحة والسلامة في العمل 2024. ووفقًا لنتائج النشرة، بلغ معدل الإصابات المهنية بين العاملين 15 سنة فأكثر 245.7 إصابة غير مميتة و1.1 إصابة مميتة لكل 100 ألف عامل، باستثناء إصابات حوادث الطرق.
وبينت نتائج النشرة حسب إفادة المستجيبين للمسح، أنه تلقى 39% من العاملين تدريبًا على إجراءات الصحة والسلامة المهنية، ويتمتع 40.4% بإمكانية الوصول إلى إدارة مخصصة للصحة والسلامة المهنية في مكان عملهم، بينما يخضع 32.2% لفحوصات طبية دورية يوفرها صاحب العمل.
وأظهرت نتائج النشرة فيما يتعلق بالمخاطر في بيئة العمل أن 5.4% من العاملين يتعاملون مع آلات خطرة، و2.1% يتعاملون مع مواد كيميائية، و1% يتعرضون للمعادن الثقيلة، أما في مجال الرعاية الصحية، أفاد 95% من العاملين بأن لديهم تغطية للحصول على خدمات الرعاية الصحية الأساسية.
وأفادت النتائج أنه خلال الأشهر الـ12 الماضية، كانت أكثر المشكلات الصحية المرتبطة بالعمل هي «التوتر المرتبط بالعمل» بنسبة 2.1%، تليها «مشاكل العين والبصر» بنسبة 2%، في حين ذكر 79.5% من العاملين أنهم لم يعانوا من أي مشاكل صحية متعلقة بالعمل خلال الفترة نفسها.
يشار إلى أن تقديرات إحصاءات الصحة والسلامة في العمل تستند إلى البيانات المُبلّغة ذاتيًا من المشاركين من خلال الزيارات الميدانية «المنزلية» التي تمت في المسح الصحي الوطني 2024، باستثناء معدل إصابات العمل، حيث تم حسابه من البيانات السجلية من المجلس الوطني للسلامة والصحة المهنية وتقديرات السكان من الهيئة العامة للإحصاء لعام 2024.
The General Authority for Statistics has released the results of the 2024 Health and Safety at Work Statistics Bulletin. According to the bulletin results, the rate of occupational injuries among workers aged 15 and older was 245.7 non-fatal injuries and 1.1 fatal injuries per 100,000 workers, excluding road accident injuries.
The bulletin results indicated, based on the responses of survey participants, that 39% of workers received training on occupational health and safety procedures, and 40.4% have access to a dedicated occupational health and safety management at their workplace, while 32.2% undergo periodic medical examinations provided by their employer.
The bulletin results regarding workplace hazards showed that 5.4% of workers deal with hazardous machinery, 2.1% handle chemicals, and 1% are exposed to heavy metals. In the healthcare sector, 95% of workers reported having coverage for basic healthcare services.
The results indicated that over the past 12 months, the most common work-related health issues were "work-related stress" at 2.1%, followed by "eye and vision problems" at 2%, while 79.5% of workers reported that they did not experience any work-related health issues during the same period.
It is worth noting that the estimates for health and safety at work statistics are based on self-reported data from participants through "home" field visits conducted in the 2024 National Health Survey, except for the work injury rate, which was calculated from record data from the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health and population estimates from the General Authority for Statistics for 2024.
