ماذا رأى الناجى الوحيد قبل أن تمحى قريته «تورسين» من الوجود في حادثة تسجل بأنها الفاجعة الأكبر في تاريخ السودان حين ابتلعت انزلاقات الطين والمطر كل سكان القرية الذين وصلوا إليها نازحين من الحرب السودانية. الناجي الوحيد لم يرو حتى الآن ما رأته عيناه عندما غاصت البيوت الصغيرة وشركاؤه في الحياة، وما الذي سيرويه؟.. أما «جبل مرة» البقعة الساحرة في غربي السودان فقد ظل مهوى للسياح والشعراء من داخل السودان وخارجه لطبعيته الساحرة، والنهر الفريد الذي ينطلق من قمة الجبل إلى سفوحه ليروي بساتين التفاح والبرتقال الأخضر و«الحمضيات» السودانية التي تفوق مرارتها مرارة الحروب المستدامة التي شهدتها دارفور في الحقب السابقة وتشهدها اليوم..
ربما تجمع مأساة قرية «تورسين» فرقاء الحرب إلى البحث عن اتفاق الحد الأدنى، ليس لإسكات قعقعة البنادق.. فقط للبحث عن وسيلة آمنة تمكن فرق البحث من إجلاء أكثر من ألف قتيل من تحت أطنان الطين وسيروي الناجي الوحيد من سكان القرية التي زالت عن الوجود: ما الذي رأه حين هبطت الارض وابتلعت جيرانه وما الذي رأه حين اجلى الباحثون جثث احبابه من الطين والوحل

لكن الذي حدث أن الجبل الذي ظل يغذيهم بالتوت والرمان.. خذلهم هذه المرة وسقاهم رحيق الموت والهلاك!
